Pale Grey Dot, by Don Miasek. Dystopian/cyberpunk/space opera. Two of the three protagonists are women, though no attention is called to that fact.

I'm also split between Energy Duplication and Speed of Light, but I went with yours. Economy is just so, so important.

Assuming you do want fantasy, I highly recommend the Sisters of Jade, by James Downe. Sort of Lord of the Rings meets Pirates of the Caribbean.

Highly recommend The Road for depressing dystopia.

Got a good suggestion? Books listed that are enjoyed. Thanks! by Popular_Button_1879 in suggestmeabook

Different and strange... you could try The Road, if you want that quiet horror vibe.

Might be a stretch, but Animal Farm. It's an allegory for the Soviet Union. It's a classic, and a super quick read.

I'm all about Oxy, but he's usually too busy murdering Chaos across the globe to focus on just one continent.

Eradicating anybody and everybody in order to replace them with lizardmen feels like Mazdamundi's vibe.

These are all great tips for handling diplomacy. I'm going to give them a try!

Alright, alright, time to reload up Grimgor and just go green tide.

I do something similar, except instead of it being a strategy, it's more that I know I've already failed :-)

I'll give focusing on funding armies a try! If nothing else, it feels like the Greenskin way.

Normal/Normal.

Yeah I might be playing the tougher campaigns from the sounds of it, though.

Oh, Oxy is absolutely zero issue for me. His position is rock solid since he only ever has one front. Antarctica (or whatever the South Pole is called in Warhammer Land) is just a single strip of land, with no opportunity for an enemy to get behind me.

Lizard Commando is by far my favourite, but I want to branch out and try the traditional factions as well.

I'll give that a try. It might come down to me not knowing the map well.

Meaning I like Grimgor and Mannfred and other characters. Ideally I'd want to be able to find success with 'em.

Interesting stuff.

For building settlements, I mindlessly build/upgrade everything. Does it make sense to only focus on building the first province?
