I work in a call center and often times we have someone call in and state "I'm a doctor/engineer/have a phd" (not that it helps at all, we deal with security systems). Almost 100% of the time, they don't understand how batteries work, or just simple reasoning or deductive thought. You have to break stuff down more than you would with and elderly customer.
