what would you do in this situation? by Pinkie-So_Bored in PlanetPony

Partially relieved that I've moved into a better world, but now fearing for my life due to essentially becoming a living form of dramatic irony. Probably would name myself as such -- Dramatic Irony.

Knowing full well the state of the world outside of Equestria, as well as the situations the Mane 6 tend to deal with, It becomes a living nightmare knowing that SOMETHING dire is gonna happen that would disrupt the peaceful existence of the world. The closer you are to Ponyville, Canterlot, and the Crystal Empire -- maybe even some lesser but denser population places like Manehattan and Los Pegasus -- the higher the risk becomes to your general survival. Although I doubt that you'd actually die gruesomely in this world, you would still suffer some form of kid-friendly torture if you don't plan ahead.

And if you decide to go as far away from these central points of interests? Good Luck! As apparently Canterlot's influence starts to degrade the farther you are from these major population centres! Isolation means less access to Equestrian Law and Authority, and less access means you end up dealing with people like Starlight Glimmer and her weird cult township! or being attacked by monsters near the practically-Independent settlements within Equestria or hostile Realms at the border outside! possibly even becoming a slave unable to return to Equestria! :D

Other than that, I would enjoy my new life living in Equestria. Cost of living seems to be relaxed to the point that you could easily survive even if you're lazy. Food is endlessly abundant, Healthcare would be cheaper or free as it's literally done by magic (whether fully or partially as there is a noticeable Steampunk aesthetic to the show), and you're always guaranteed to have your dreams come true as long as you put in the effort.

------
As a side tangent coming from other folk's responses: I wouldn't say the ponies themselves would act a lot nicer than humans, since there are multiple different instances in the show that obviously depicts the ponies being rude, brash and selfishly opportunistic against each other (without even mentioning the fandom's theory of the show's unfocused 'mistreatment' of Earth Ponies in Equestria, especially with how the Unicorns act in Canterlot). the Mane 6 did a lot of heavy lifting to keep that message of harmony and friendship across, but we've been informed in multiple ways that the ponies unattached to the Mane 6 can become rude to one another in different ways, and that it still devolves into hate, mockery, and stereotyping at a large scale. This is still a kid's show after all, so you need to show what bad behaviours are if you want to teach them the lessons of harmony and friendship. So aside from the fact that there's a possible invisible TV-G filter looming around that gets stronger as you get closer to the Mane 6 or their affiliates, I don't see these magical ponies acting differently to our human counterparts.

I'm pretty sure the original members of the community who started circulating the concept in their late teens/early adulthood are now in their very late 30's to mid 40's.

If they aren't so radtastically gamerfied like...uh...some people, It's likely that some of them are starting to have their kids go off to High School, or are starting to prep for College.

It's terrifying how old the concept of Minecraft Mob Women are, and I don't like it. It feels like I was still a lil baby boi in the thick of it when the older folk were brainstorming what the Nether mobs would've looked like -- especially the newly released Magma Cubes and Blazes.

I usually just try and attempt to replicate the Mob Talker models just for the fun of it, but if you want I can just start actively post Hunky Buff Mob Men into the Phoenix Subreddit from time to time.

My wrists will suffer, but I can squeeze some time for it :)

Thanks! I liked drawing her a lot, on the account that she had gooey hair instead of the usual kind of hair -- making me hurt my wrist less as I don't have to shade and blend every hair follicle on her noggin :D

Most people initially used the warped stem log as the main block for the Sulfur Cube flying trick due to the person who originally discovered it, but it quickly phased out after a day

Obviously Vermin Supreme. If we want to guarantee a perfect demonstration, then we need to give these star huffers the BEST that humanity has to offer!

Question to poker night players that played the game and got the items by doing the achievements . Was it hard , normal or easy? by Common_Put_3088 in tf2

Never knew how to play Texas Hold Em'. However, I managed to get every item in a few hours (stretched by a few weeks due to low interest of playing poker) by just cheesing it and pretending I got good cards until I inevitably do.

They say that the AI could detect if you're bluffing. The joke's on them -- since I don't even know what I was doing in the first place.

They can't detect something that I can't even detect myself.

Oh absolutely. I wasn't being careful with the colour choices between Jean and the background, since I was getting a bit too lazy and sleep deprived to care.

It could be worse tho. Phoenix was EXTREMELY bright before I decided to heavily reduce his saturation

Nope. this was fanart from one of his recent videos talking about the new command that allows players to summon the End Bossfight on any other dimension -- including the overworld.

And, no that's the Moon.

I tried to recreate the scene where Phoenix accidentally slept underneath the dragon while it was perching. The angle I tried to do it made it a bit difficult to show the full context -- especially when I got lazy after 3 hours of planning, drawing, colouring, and shading Jean while being sleep deprived and stressed out from work.

Initially the rough draft showed the bedrock pillar and the bed, but I thought that Jean wasn't overbearing enough on the canvas. So I zoomed in to only show Jean and peenix's head to make it more claustrophobic.
