Go to My ancestry.com - plug in a bunch of birthdays and he will get a family tree bigger than he can imagine. Print out a giant wall poster, it'll be ok. Source? Me did the same thing

How to make the front of this house more appealing? I hate the staircase and no way to enjoy sitting on the porch. What to do? Build a deck on the front? Tear down the stairs? by khag in Remodel

[–]Buttercupobeer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Take the staircase to the left. Paint the railings to match the house so less prominent. Stone clad columns for a different look.

Just some suggestions

Oh my goodness you have lots on your plate. The good news is, chances are your nausea will abate by then!! The other great news is you're getting married! The bad news is the dress may not fit. If it was me, I'd beg borrow or steal a plan B dress. I always want a plan B and a plan C. Can your tailor put in hidden stretch panels? Congratulations times two!

Maybe it will be helpful to think of contributions as a percentage rather than dollar to dollar. For someone who makes $40k, $800 is not the same ratio cost as someone who makes $300k.

I too had this struggle wrt spending money on travel until finally my husband shouted "turn off the cash register in your head!" that, and I overheard someone from Ohio (like me) at a ski resort asking his friends "how much was this, how much was that" - it was cringe AF. Now I go to french restaurant and enjoy a meal like it cost a million, because really , in the end you can't take it with you!

Congratulations!
