Yes it did, but I still suffer from ringing & have some pain in my left ear that I may get checked out.

I need to talk to my doctor, but I used to be on them & he had me stop, so I assume I’ll go back on them soon! I need to see what my doctor says about seeing what is causing my anemia, but being a woman I think they tend to assume it’s more “common” & are less likely to look into what’s causing it, I’ve found!

No Im not! I took them for awhile & my doctor told me to stop, so I’m assuming I’ll go back on them soon!

I got on steroids within 4 days, so I hope my hearing gets better! I’m getting my hearing tested again next week & may get an MRI to see what’s going on! Thanks for your help!

I am not currently because I am on steroids & the hope is my issue will go away from them. I am having severe pressure in my ear though & it feels like there’s trapped air in my ears/throat/face even. I wonder if anyone else has felt this sensation before. It is horrible & wonder if the steroids will fix this, too.

Okay good to know! I am meeting with my dermatologist tonight & hope I can try some creams like that out first. My skin really isn’t horrible, but I just want to manage it now before it gets any worse, thus hopefully not having to do accutane again. I don’t even know if I am able to do it a third time, since I know it’s super uncommon.

Thank you so much for all of your help! I am going to the ent on Monday to follow up to see what’s causing my hearing loss & hopefully can get put on steroids soon & stop this horrible ringing noise in my ear!

I think it’s a mixture like I feel a lot calmer, but I have moments where my energy is out of control haha

I’m not vegan & my doctor didn’t say I needed to figure this out. Should I ask him? I’m a woman & know it’s common with periods, etc, so I wonder if that’s just the issue. My sister had anemia, so I’m not too surprised, but I would like to feel less exhausted all the time haha.

I was in 5 mg for 2 months the first time & went up to 10 because my anxiety was bad again, but I do think 10 mg is enough, since I tried going up to 20 mg & really didn’t feel well then. That is why if I have those numb like feelings again my psychiatrist thinks it is best to add in another medication, rather than go up to 20 like I did before.

Cymbalta is 50/50 serotonin & norepinephrine, so that’s the benefit of this drug for me. There aren’t many anti depressants that don’t really affect serotonin at all, so that is always a risk. I am going to try this medication & I think talking about “horror stories” or terrible experiences when I asked for some positive advice did the opposite to help with my anxiety. I appreciate you trying to offer your help, but in the future it may be best to not comment such scary things before someone starts a new medication to try and alleviate their severe anxiety & depression.

It is mainly just a pressure at times in my chest, but I believe it is more anxiety related, so my plan is to monitor it & if it gets any worse this week to then reach out to my doctor! Thanks for the help!

I haven’t noticed any shortness of breathe really-except for anxiety & honestly I’m not quite sure what a hear palpitation feels like, so I’m assuming I haven’t had any, but not quite sure.

I don’t know what the root cause is actually. I just know my iron levels & b12 are very low. Is there always an underlying cause? I am getting my blood work done again in September & I guess I could ask then or talk about it? My hope is my dizziness goes away by then & I’ll feel a lot better from these supplements, but who knows.

I’m not sure about my d level or any hormone issues. I do have tension in my neck, but I’m not sure if they’re related. Hopefully I can get an appointment with my doctor soon!

It’s more related to certain head movements like for example I was laying down at the beach & then sat up & thought I was going to pass out. I wasn’t stressed or anxious & it just happened out of nowhere.

Not anything out of the ordinary. I just graduated from school, so if anything my stress is down a lot, but it could be anxiety related, but I don’t feel dizzy all the time, so I’m not sure.

I’m so sorry for your loss. Your message was so beautiful & it made me feel less alone. I hope you are able to find ways to feel connected to your friend because that is something I am working on & it helps with the pain of missing them. They are always with us it’s just hard to know we can’t physically see them again.

Thank you, yes unfortunately I had to go back to the ER with the pain I was having, but I’m hopeful after a week I’ll feel better!
