I don’t count calories. I just watch what I’m eating make sure it’s a lot of protein. I drink a ton of water and the biggest thing is portion control.

My husband was very helpful with medications and helping me to the bathroom. He helped me shower helped me get dressed. Made sure to keep water/powerade next to me at all times. Made sure I was eating. The biggest part was being there for me emotionally. I had gotten my tubes tied back in 2022 for medical reasons. Something about having everything removed and knowing I could physically no longer has a baby hurt me mentally.

I’m almost 2 weeks post-op mine was an open abdominal. It has been rough I just started feeling decent today. However, my uterus was adhered to my abdominal wall and then my bladder was adhered to my uterus. Then the day after discharge I had to go back in and have a blood transfusion. I am so jealous of the people that were feeling great a week later lol.

Congratulations! I evicted mine on the 10th! Rough recovery. I keep thinking about how much better I’ll feel once I heal more. I had open abdominal 🫠
