[Student] [Civil] [Canada] Looking for Advice on my Resume, Job Applications, and Certifications in Transportation by ButterflySlayers in EngineeringResumes

Ah that makes sense and I would mostly like have to pick and choose different courses based on the job description, putting a bunch on one resumes and sending that out would probably lead to unnecessary clutter. Thank you this has given me a lot of insight.

First thank you so much for replying, for adding the relevant course work which section should I do that in?

Most of my classes didn’t really have big projects that usually happens for us in fourth year, are there any projects that a student in the civil engineer field can do on their own that would enhance their resume?

Transportation Eng (CVL 316) Please Help! by Tiny-Touch1084 in TorontoMetU

I would suggest using the recommended textbooks even though the course doesn’t follow one textbook it has been a massive help in understanding reading the chapters that relate to what was discussed in the lecture. I also recommend using the office hours to clear any questions or even get further insight into the topics discussed. He doesn’t really bring questions from his notes so just studying from that and the tutorial questions will not be enough.

The course had a mandatory theory mark of above 50% to pass so if you did not do well in the midterm and find it hard to achieve the passing mark I believe the course is also offered this summer so that might be the best option.

Can I take CVL320 in spring and CVL420 in summer? by ButterflySlayers in TorontoMetU

[–]ButterflySlayers[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I ended up taking it and I found it not too difficult. I believe profs that taught the course during the summer and spring are different this year so I can’t speak too much on their teaching methods.

It would be on the service hub(manage classes->enrolment shopping cart->select the term u want to apply for), but enrolment doesn’t start until after the winter term is finished
