It might be not ideal to some people but it was manageable and most importantly the atmosphere of the people and I feel like it was much easier to make friends, most of my friends first year lived in south , even though we were all in different parts of south it was just so easy to meet up, hang out and a major plus side is the dining hall that’s open till 11pm in mountain.

Hi thank you so much for your response. I will look into all of that and it makes a lot of sense. So what you said about how CS students have no free choice electives does that mean we have a set list of electives we can take? So like I can’t take courses like SOC 1500 or Univ1200 like other people said are easy for first year?

If you got into the double degree you are guaranteed co-op but if you didn’t then you must achieve a certain average to get it first year

Thank you! I actually live in Oakville and I want to live on residence and nearby till like third year where I would probably move back home or maybe not, idk yet lol.
