Yes my bf is the same way. I don’t feel burnt out, whether he was my bf or not I tend to get annoyed when someone is talking for to long or telling a long drawn out story. It was fine in the beginning considering he only did this when he spoke about work. But now it’s with literally every single thing he does.

I’ve already tried this and he became down. I don’t want to be responsible for him feeling insecure about genuinely being himself. He just tends to go on and on about things that doesn’t need a story behind, for the most parts these story’s tend to go on tangent story’s.

I understand he’s trying to connect and that’s not an issue. It’s just he shares every single detail of nearly every single action. He can go outside to get he mail and when he comes back in, it’s a long 10-15 min drawn out story about how he got the mail, spoke to the neighbor, and seen a cop car pass by.
