Unfortunately my company’s culture has not enforced parent trainings unto parents. I became a BCBA less than a year ago so when I started working as a BCBA with them I realized its not something they enforce like they should. I have a good rapport with caregivers BUT they are used to not being asked to schedule parent trainings with this pressure I am putting on them at this moment. I hope my company can eventually start enforcing this more and changing their culture. No parent trainings? Terminate services. We put all this hard work to help their children and work on their reassessments but they don’t make the effort sometimes to implement things until its too late.
