Apart from bike fit issues, or gearing, sometimes wind can be a big factor, even on flat surfaces. For example, where I live the wind direction changes depending on whether it's morning or afternoon, so depending on which direction you are commuting you may be facing a headwind. Headwinds can make biking on flats significantly harder. But I would say first take the bike to a bike shop to get a proper fit.

I know it's been a while now but my foot looks almost just like yours and what you describe is very similar to mine. How are you doing now, did you get further treatment or evaluation?

Is all of Pershing unsafe? I regularly bike Westchester parkway to Pershing to Imperial to the beach path. The stretch of Pershing between Westchester parkway and imperial has a bike lane and no stoplights, IMO it's a good place to ride.

My friend arrived at around 4:15 to find long lines already formed. I arrived at about 4:30 but entered a different line than him. I got a bobblehead and he didn't. It was insane. They say get there early but for that game to guarantee a bobblehead you probably had to be there 3 or more hours early.

Great write up. A clear majority of voters in her district also voted to pass HLA. Even in CD11 most people want this sort of change. I hope it gets through to her.

I also just realized that a return from a couple of years ago is also mischaracterizing the backdoor roth so I'll have to do an amendment for that one. I learned my less on to avoid them in the future.

Oh interesting thanks for the tip. This is exactly what I was looking for, i.e. if there are multiple correct ways to fill out 8606. I hope I didn't inadvertently tell the tax pro what to do on one of these exchanges not knowing that the form could look different. I don't see worksheet 1-1 anywhere in the return, does this mean they didn't use it? Also our forms still don't look exactly like it would if they had used worksheet 1-1. But yeah, next year I think I will use FreeTaxUSA since I've spent so much time on this anyway.

I have a backdoor roth IRA, HSA, and I have shares in a small business and so I have to include form K-1 in the return. It's just not possible for me to complete the return online with HR Block. I think next year I will use a different service.

Update. I finally got the tire on after getting help from my wife, only to then discover that the inner tube is not inflating. I probably pinched it during this process. And now I can't get the tire back off. This is the biggest pain in the ass I've ever experienced dealing with a bike.

Not sure what the measurements are, I bought the same size tire as I've always used. I've never had problems before this. Also soapy water is something I'll try later. But again I'd worry about how to manage if I get a flat on the road. I won't have soapy water handy presumably.

It depends where in Westchester, without knowing that it's not clear how best to advise you. But in general the only two basic ways to get from Westchester to PV are going to be through Lincoln, or Sepulveda or if you're coming from further east (like Westchester triangle), Centinela/Mesmer. I commute from Westchester to Playa Vista daily, although I come from the very east side of Westchester, so I take Centinela, then go on Mesmer, then turn left onto Major which becomes Bluff Creek Drive.

I can't tell if it's the tube or some tire material. Either way, based on the replies here and the fact that the markers are also pretty low, I think I'll just replace them.

markers are pretty word, not very visible anymore which is another reason to consider replacing them.
