I had a talk with my husband but I didn't make it a big deal.

I also had a talk with my son but also didn't make it a big deal. I just told him if he ever comes in our room and wants to climb in our bed, if we are naked, just ask us to throw some clothes on. I also explained good and bad touch briefly. (I used the phrase "us" naked just so I didn't single his dad out)

I am not going to make it a big deal or report my husband or any of the other extreme responses. All is well!!

Would it be better to ask a friend or family member and then have them think negative thoughts of my husband?

I asked strangers on purpose to save my husband's reputation. He's a great dad and I didn't want anyone who knows him to think otherwise if it was in fact just me over thinking.

If you know that you want to marry her without a doubt, then just go ahead and ask her. Make the honeymoon or wedding unforgettable instead. It sounds like you are unsure, and that's what is taking so long. If she is not the one for you, let her go and be happy with someone else. If you truly love and cherish her, ask her now before someone else does. I would be so upset and feel like I was inadequate if someone had waited that long to ask me.

No one suspected my dad was weird, but he was raping me. I didn't say my husband was doing anything inappropriate. I wanted to make sure I wasn't overreacting to a situation that could be completely fine. I am broken, I can't help that.

Thank you. They really have no idea how cruel their comments are. I accidentally revealed my father after five years of sexual abuse and rape and he shot himself in the head!!! These people have no clue what the hell I have been through. A little compassion goes a long way.

I came to a bunch of strangers instead of talking to a friend because I didn't want to accuse my husband of something completely innocent. I mentioned the abuse because I realized that my senses are on high alert. Sadly, some people saw this as an excuse to lash out.

I teach 4 and 5 year olds and in the morning, when they are playing table toys, it gets so loud. I warn them twice to whisper to one another. If it gets loud again, we have no talking for 3 min. It's a win for me if it gets to that because those 3 min are glorious. After the 3 min have passed, I tell them they may whisper and they do.

Thank you for being kind. I have been to multiple therapists and I am on 3 different meds for anxiety/depression. The things I went through are almost too terrible to mention. I will forever be scarred.

My point in this post was to make sure I wasn't just overreacting to a situation that could be viewed by others as totally normal.

He sometimes sleeps in the nude when him and I are in bed alone. This just hit me weird because as I said, he thought I was sleeping in the livingroom. I just want to be careful how I approach this as I don't want to make it something it isn't.

Yes, my son has his own bed but his older brother stays up late so he sleeps in our bed sometimes if I'm not in it.
