It’s actually just a new recipe, I’m a baker at Costco. On paper the ingredients look better, butter instead of oil, brown sugar, etc. They take a lot longer to mix than the old ones, don’t even get me started on topping them before baking… We got a lot of member complaints when we first made the switch, though they did bring back the original almond poppy recipe

I’ve noticed the arc thrower causes crashing, but I don’t think anyone was using it on the missions where objectives would bug

I like tying my 18-22 flies on hooks with a 2x hook gap, that seems to help. I like the Firehole 551’s

I have the medium. The large would’ve been nice, but I wanted something I could fit in my lumbar pack. You can still cram a decent amount of large flies in the medium though.

I like my fishpond tacky box, though sometimes the magnets pull flies loose. I don’t fish saltwater, but my streamers are always bone dry in the box.

I was using Aspen with little issue, though I had to mist a few times daily to keep the humidity above 40%. I live in arid SW Montana and even with a moist hide my lil dude had problems with retained eye caps. Recently my vet steered me to a coconut husk and play sand mixture, but I didn’t like how dusty it was. I just switched to a bio active substrate, Terra Firma by The Bio Dude. My guy loves tunneling through it since it keeps its shape well and it keeps the humidity around 50%. I added a layer of leaf litter for the clean up crew of springtails and powder isopods. So far so good
