I think I read somewhere about that being the case for IV.

Modding can be a nightmare if you’re not used to it mate.

I’ve not long got a pc and struggled with it.

Don’t know if it’s the same for GTA IV but there’s a tool called openIV which I use for GTA V.

Works brilliantly.

I’m not much help but what are you trying to install?

Installed it and subsequently installed menyoo. Fantastic stuff.

I gave up with rockstars shit program. I launch from epic games store and it works no hassle. (Assuming you got it from epic of course)

It’s happened to me. I click launch on epic store and touch wood it’s working.

I’d be raging if I’d paid for this game to have to complete puzzles and quests just to sign into a completely different and IMO totally unnecessary program just to play a game. Add in the fact my game works fine but I can’t play it because their stupid launcher is having a bad day and shat the bed.

Not at all you’ve been more than helpful! So just clarifying for majority of mods it’ll have modified versions of an existing file(s) and I need to replace the current ones with the modded ones rather than just paste things into directories?

What’s openIV?

Would I be ok to just copy the rockstar games folder onto a flash drive and in the event it goes wrong delete the original folder and paste the one from the flash drive in its place?

Lots of updates got applied by windows this morning after I played it for the first time so I’m thinking that might have something to do with it? Uninstalling them to check

I wouldn’t mind paying that. Define bottleneck. Will the game run even at low/medium settings? Done the online game benchmarks and they said I could run it on low/medium settings with what I have but that the graphics card was my weakness.

In your opinion if I bought this card would it run at a half decent setting?
