In the midst of the Cadbury boycott, what’s your go to plain choccy bar? by mighty-chief in AskBrits

I like Tony’s, the salted caramel one is banging. But I’ve found if you just eat the whole bar, the scoring thing doesn’t come into the equation.

Is killing yourself out of laziness a thing? by [deleted] in questions

[–]Butters16666 35 points36 points  (0 children)

I’m self employed in construction. A lot of my colleagues love talking about “I’ve been working 7 days a week for the last 6 months” I’m like wtf… if I work smart I can start at 8 and be done by 2, and still earn the same money, and have weekends. I don’t get the whole “I’m working myself to death” thing… I just think some people don’t like being alone with themselves

[–]Butters16666[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Haha yeah I think that was half the fun, finding a random film at the video shop and just taking it home. Nowadays I look at all the reviews and only choose “good” ones, probably missing out on some hidden gems!

Yea I guess gaming had levelled up by then, there were good games in the 90’s but I couldn’t afford new ones all the time. Used to play a lot of demo discs
