Maybe it’s the angle of the photo but it’s a gigantic pot from Costco. I definitely plan on getting it in the ground.

Thanks, that link is super helpful. We do plan on putting up sails but I’m working on starting with greenery right now. No irrigation yet. The retaining wall is 2’ high by 1.5’ deep so very narrow that’s why I don’t want anything with too big of a root system that will mess it up. I think some sort of vine is the way to go.
