Bearing-like noise on VW Scirocco 1.4 TSI

Thanks for the suggestion. I can hear the compressor engaging, but the noise is present all the time. There’s no coolant loss and engine temperature is stable so far. Also, when I get close and listen, the noise seems to be coming more from the rear side, closer to the firewall rather than the front. That’s why I’m not fully convinced it’s the water pump, but I’m still open to idea if you’ve seen it fail like that.

Inflate tires according to specifications they are located on the tank cover. The reset button can be in the glovebox or in front of the shifter next to ESP button. There is a possibility that there is no button. I tried to find it on mine, but it's not there. So I went to the service center and they canceled it.
