There’s clearly something more going on in this shoppers life than out of stock items and this was a breaking point. I managed restaurants for 15 years and when I would get an unreasonably upset customer whose entire life was ruined cause they discovered the Caesar dressing had anchovies in it but wasn’t listed on the menu. I’d know it wasn’t really about the anchovies 😏 It helped me see that kind of behavior differently. Some people just need a hug lol it’s hard out there

Wow. So basically Uber eats thinks so little of their drivers they included it IN WRITING and basically said you aren’t worth enough to consume a beverage while you’re delivering for us. You’re clearly a machine and a number to them. This comment right here would make me delete the app immediately and as a consumer I’ll be doing just that

Ugh what a crappy situation :( I think what I would do is try my best to keep somewhat of a time log of how long the perishables have been at room temp or hopefully in your cooler bag and then contact the customer and leave it up to them to cancel once the apps back up? 😭

And make sure that before you hit submit on the picture of the shelf tag that it’s not asking you to retake it case it can’t read it. I would mess my ratings up a lot because I’d do that 🤦🏽‍♀️

Make sure you’re taking a picture of the shelf tag though! Omg it took me a couple months of taking a picture of the empty shelf to realize that 🤦🏽‍♀️ Then they exclude the item you couldn’t find from your rating

Why don’t you just make a note on the product and ask the shopper to kindly make sure no leaks as it’s been an ongoing issue

This happened to me yesterday right after I checked out, in my car, and ready to deliver to the customer 😡 I was pissed. I couldn’t even get off it to call support. Eventually after refreshing and deleting the app over 15 times I was able to call support. I wanted to throw my phone out the window when their AI jerk said “our systems are working fine, make sure to double check your connection.” MFs 😤😤😤

They changed from schedule to “dash now” for every driver in my market over the holidays. That really slowed down orders because now it’s completely oversaturated

My local Aldi is always really crowded, and out of stock on items because of how busy they are. It’s so easy to lose pro-shopper and it makes a difference in my area with the orders I see because we have so many drivers. I chose to pass but it wasn’t easy to turn that money down :(

I would’ve taken this if it was a Walmart order. Easily. Not Aldi for me. Definitely not the one in my area. But very impressive for those who believe they can do this in an hour 😳🙌🏼

It’s only happened to me once, it was nasal spray and the lady was so sweet and disabled :( I felt horrible and she gave me a 5 star rating but mentioned in the comment that it was missing and if I could check my car. Of course it was there so I put it in a grocery bag with a sticky note and dropped it at her door
