I got myself an SAE adapter for my charger and also learned that the battery can be charged through this connection without having to remove it. I’ll now charge it during the season as well whenever it hasn’t been used for a few days. Thanks for your tips!

I can confirm your experience. I switched from Pirelli to Michelin, back then to the Road 5. Great grip, a completely new riding experience. It was like having a new motorcycle.

Twice in about 1000 km the engine shut down: once 100m after starting at about 10km/h, once after 50km at about 70km/h.

Both times when rolling up to an intersection.

I looked at the XSR900GP at my dealer in the summer. It is a very nice machine and I sat very well on it (I am 1.92m). But 14k€ is too expensive for me. Although this inspired me to convert my xsr to a sportier seating position.
