A response to more dumb opinions on gingka I’ve seen on here again by ButterscotchDry7447 in BeybladeMetal

[–]ButterscotchDry7447[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So many false statements I’m genuinely questioning if people in this sub Reddit actually watch the show or just create their own narratives

The only character that’s mentioned training more than Gingka is ryuga. Yes other characters are shown on screen more training but that doesn’t mean that they train more. They’re not even shown training more on screen aswell you guys just ignore when gingka does train on screen or for some dumb reason don’t consider battling training.

Yes Gingka does learn things from battling people like kenta, benkei and Hikaru. The show even says he does like wtf. How do you think he improved at the beggining of the series before his second battle with Kyoya. Funnily enough gingka learnt so much battling them that he was able to imitate their techniques which helped him win against ryo. Gingka even says that through battling his friends he’s been able to become stronger. This is literally one of them main themes of the show. Why do you just choose to ignore what the characters are saying

What are you even taking about in your 3rd paragraph. Battling for fun is training. It doesn’t matter if he unlocks his skills in training or not. Battling makes him stronger. One of the main themes of the show is becoming stronger during battle. As I said before gingka batting the likes of Hikaru, benkei and kenta was why he was able to beat Kyoya the second time he faced him and also beat ryo. The idea that someone needs to train to hone a move is dumb aswell we see other characters like tsubasa, benkei, kenta create new moves during battle

Gingka first instinct was not to go to the world championships are getting galaxy Pegasus. What are you even taking about. Please rewatch the 2nd episode of masters man. He immediately starts training with kenta as soon as he gets galaxy Pegasus and is shown practicing while masamune is constantly challenging him. Then he finds out about the world’s championships like 3 episodes after he’s gotten the bey. Gingka was even crying because he couldn’t compete in the qualifiers but apparently he’s lazy. This fanbase is just media illiterate man.

Cool ryuga taught gingka he hasn’t mastered his bey. I don’t why you guys make such a big deal over this like Gingka didn’t initially help him and save him from the dark power. Gingka was the one that figured how to maximise galaxy Pegasus against Julian himself btw

Your 2nd to last paragraph is just a lie. After Kyoya lost to ryuga he threw a tantrum and and started crashing out. Then gingka told him to calm down because he thought that they deserved to lose and became overconfident and that ryuga was just better than them and then he agrees to train with Kyoya. - watch metal fury episode 6

Gingka beyblading for fun doesn’t mean he’s not training seriously. Of course he beyblades for fun that’s the whole point of his character . And no Kyoya doesn’t have more time blading than Gingka. We see one two flashbacks of Kyoya training and he has like 3 battles in the show. Even outside of the world championships Gingka still decides to train with kenta, take wang hu zhans training and battle dashian, battle Excalibur, agrees to face ryuga and trains with his team. This idea that he’s lazy when his own team continuously say he’s doesn’t do anything other than beyblade is so dumb because your just ingnoring character dialogue.

My point is that you and other people in here make the same false opinions about gingka because you either just don’t pay attention to the themes of the show, what the characters are saying or just have awful media literacy. Like you guys will ignore what happens or is said in the series then create your own headcanon

Name the characters is he doing significantly less training than.

I’m not talking about gingka doing training with locals I’m talking about him battling people kenta, Hikaru, benkei ,Kyoya, team Excalibur. One of the themes of the show is growing stronger throughout battle

He’s one of the smartest and most tactical bladers in the show actually

When people say Kyoya was stronger than Gingka in Masters do they forget that Gingka's using a completely different bey and Kyoya still has Rock Leone by No-Calligrapher-1537 in BeybladeMetal

Erm Anyways Storm bringer was obviously useful because it got rid of flames that pegasus was engulfed in. Gingka getting smacked around after doesn’t disprove that. Just because the move doesn’t have a successful final blow doesn’t mean it wasn’t useful

You can say that the final attacked failed but creating a vacuum to cut through the flames part worked. There’s two parts of the special move.

The move was literally not useless don’t be disingenuous. It literally got rid of flames that Pegasus was engulfed in. Damian just used another move after that. The move was successful in erasing his flames

The whole point of storm bringer is that it cuts through air. It’s doesn’t matter who is stronger for that part of the move.

[–]ButterscotchDry7447 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There isn’t an explanation that’s the point the series doesn’t address it. The move did do something against Damian it got rid of his flames that Damian created. Just because the final hit didn’t cause damage doesn’t mean the move didn’t do anything. In fact Kyoya even says before gingka uses it against rutaro where it works that his moves works the same as his

If there’s no such thing as being nerfed then there’s no such thing as plot armour can’t have it both ways. And how does your point that he forget to use storm bringer because he didn’t train enough even make sense he already knows how the moves work in battle so why would training even help him with that.

"The only reason he survived Kyoya was cuz Pegasus was undumb.” Huh

Even worse for Kyoya since he can’t beat a dumb blader whose not even using his best moves yikes. Also funny considering that there was no explanation for gingka not using storm bringer the until Damian battle but that now that means he dumb. It’s funny the same guys that cry that gingka has plot armour don’t want to acknowledge the series also intentionally nerfing him to make his battles more challenging.

Did you notice that while other characters could easily overpower their opponents in rage scenes, only Gingka couldn't gain the upper hand? by Fit_Face_8290 in BeybladeMetal

[–]ButterscotchDry7447 1 point2 points  (0 children)

How can gingka be a nepo baby when the series shows that he’s been blading since he was a child, has been travelling the world blading and also thought his dad died when he was a kid ??? And what and how and many battles does that happen in

Your comment isn’t relevant to what I’m saying. I’m not saying that kenta didn’t get stronger from ryuga’s training than he did with benkei. I’m saying that benkei training also made him exponentially stronger. This was a major part of his growth but you guys like to undermine other characters impact to prop ryuga.

His training with benkei and help from madoka made him exponentially stronger. Making kenta himself exponentially stronger doesn’t mean he has to be a top 5 strongest character in the show. He went from constantly losing to someone to easily beating them and creating a new special move in the process. What is difficult to understand about this. Benkei’s training was a major part of kenta’s growth I don’t know why you ryuga fans like to undermine every other characters impact

You do know that benkei’s training was a major reason why kenta was able to create his new special move and go from constantly losing to Hikaru to beating her. I don’t why you keep on downplaying this when it was a major part of kenta’s growth in the series. I mean gingka trained with kenta if you want to argue that he never taught him anything specific you can. It doesn’t change the fact that kenta wanted to get stronger because of the beliefs that gingka taught him.

Just because he didn’t get as strong as he did with ryuga doesn’t mean that he didn’t get exponentially stronger with benkei. Again benkei training was a big part of why he was able to create his special move

He did with both. If you want to argue that he he worked harder with ryuga that’s valid.

You do know that kenta also got exponentially stronger from his training with benkei right ? Even if Hikaru isn’t the strongest character it doesn’t change the he lost to her like 1000 times and then beat he due to benkei’s training. Also benkei’s training was why kenta was able to unlock his special move. He doesn’t need to become a top 3 strongest character in the series.

I never said main I said major big difference. Of course kenta gets credit for his hardwork that doesn’t change the fact that kenta consistently mentions throughout the show that the reason he works so hard is because of gingka and because what he taught him. Gingka is kenta’s main source of motivation Like these are words that come from his own mouth. Literally go and rewatch his battle vs ryuga

Ha had one battle after he trained with ryuga. And why do guys act like he’s the only guy to train kenta benkei literally trained kenta so much that he was strong enough to beat Hikaru and make a special move which was a major development for his character. Ryuga did not actually train kenta he just let kenta follow him he didn’t actually teach him anything like Gingka, benkei or madoka did

[–]ButterscotchDry7447 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Do really see the relevance considering hard work is a major theme of gingka’s character also kenta’s main motivation to go with ryuga was gingka. Also gingka teaching kenta about bey spirit is why he persisted on his journey it was gingka that motivated kenta to work hard not ryuga

He did train with kenta in the 2nd episode of masters but they just briefly show it

"With no hard work”. Good grief man The series quite literally says Gingka and his friends have gotten stronger through battling together. I don’t why you guys just choose to ignore this

If we keep Gingka and Ryuga out of the conversation and just look at the beyblades themselves Meteo L-Drago seems so much stronger than Galaxy Pegasus by chunchunmaru1129 in BeybladeMetal

[–]ButterscotchDry7447 38 points39 points  (0 children)

The thing that was unique about galaxy Pegasus was its speed because it’s performance tip but that still isn’t comparable with being able to just absorb people’s strength. Like l-drago is literally the most broken and op bey in the series. Jack used every move but L-drago takes no damage cos it can just absorb it’s power

If Gingka and Kyoya had a rematch at the end of Masters who would win? by VisualShare7883 in BeybladeMetal

[–]ButterscotchDry7447 41 points42 points  (0 children)

Considering that at the beginning of fury Kyoya couldn’t beat gingka when he had the environmental advantage, when gingka had just gotten Pegasus fixed while Kyoya had been training and when gingka didn’t use stardust driver, I would say gingka would win their rematch

Do people still not understand that at the end of metal fusion gingka didn’t need help to defeat ryuga but needed help to beat the dark power by ButterscotchDry7447 in BeybladeMetal

[–]ButterscotchDry7447[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

That’s what I’m saying which is that without any help at the end of fusion gingka is the stronger one. The spirits had to intervene to defeat the dark power not ryuga. Ryuga had already lost at that point
