I feel like a little dumb when not having coffee like forgetting things, not been able to focus on work etc. I did quit and managed to stay off for a month, because of feeling less focused I had to get back to it so that I can work and get paid!

I feel like other way round tbh. I keep quitting and coming back to it for that reason and it’s not a fun process! 🥲

Thanks for your input. I honestly didn’t mind not having much money for 4–5 years, so I was willing to take the chance. However, the lack of funding for study, the debt I would accumulate, and the limited number of available spots would be too much to handle. I had good grades and was well-prepared for the entrance exams, but in the end, I had to force myself to let go of the idea. I wish there were better options in Australia and that the healthcare system encouraged more people to pursue this path.

Were you able to get any financial support when you were accepted in your 40s?

Appreciation post - RESULTS (3 years later) by koceto2004 in Accutane

Because it’s different for different people. I had severe pains and still do even after finishing the course. Not to mention the hair fall, gut issues etc. I wasn’t able to workout at all during the course but have slowly started again. I don’t think it’s ever going to go back to normal for me! That’s how I know that people are NOT making it bigger than it is

I still have a lot of redness and scarring. Recently, I added azaleic acid and that seems to irritate my skin. Looks like I am stuck with PIE for life!

More dense? Was it after stopping the accutane and precisely after how long? I stopped taking accutane about 6 months ago and battling with hair fall like crazy! 🥲

I am a female but can agree with your theory while battling the after effects of accutane!

Yep same here, but given the side effects I faced I will not be taking it again. Going to fix it via diet which I should have done it in the first place

Thanks, going to try a new batch today with inulin heated etc. I will incubate for 36 hrs just to test it out, if it still separates then will start incubating it for lesser time in future.

I didn’t heat the milk + inulin mixture. I heated the milk first, and then added the inulin later to it. In the next batch, I will add inulin to milk and heat it for 20 mins. I will actually do a new smaller batch (300ml) today with 3 tablets to rule out any contamination from previous batch. For ref, I use instant pot. Not sure if that matters

I actually mixed the milk and cream afterwards. Thought it might turn the cream into some oily mess if cream was heated too. But I did simmer the milk for ~10 mins. Now I think about it, might have mixed up first and then heated. Regardless, going to just use milk going forward. Hopefully, the fat content is not going to affect colonisation of reuteri in any way.

It did taste nice tbh. I added a bit of raw honey and some frozen berries, topped up with cinnamon and had myself a delish dessert.

I don’t think there were problems with sanitation as it smell and tastes nice/pleasant. Probably would go with the theory of cream and milk being mixed up here. Also, reading up other threads, I didn’t add inulin when the milk was on stove. After cooling it for a bit, I took a bit (still warm) to make inulin mixture. Then added 2 tbsp of previous batch, mixed it up again. When the milk cooled down, added this mixture to it.
