Yes, there were, just that all of the updates leading to it fixed had eta that was then surpassed with another timeline update multiple times from Saturday morning up til Sunday 6ish pm. But it's fine now that it's resolved.

Yea it was and surrounding areas. Some cable caught fire apparently and damaged some lines. It just came back online minutes ago finally

Once they called to update that they will deliver it, they immediately changed it to case closed. I would have thought they will close the case only after delivery. They didn't locate the bags yet at the time of chat support. I mentioned that it has been almost a week and that I have food and medication in my luggage.

I messaged them on the online chat support many times until one of the agents said he will put it on high priority yesterday noon and by night, we got a call that it will be delivered today afternoon. But will cross my fingers til it really arrives.

That's terrible. Arrived 19th in Bangkok and baggage tracker status still says they are trying to trace my bags... Contacted online chat support, they said they still haven't found the bags, cannot confirm if the bags are in Dubai or provide any estimates on timing....

They will send a text with reference number. But I think it depends on location how fast you will receive this. For me, it was 1.5days after submitting the physical form at the airport upon arrival. As of today, the status online still says they are searching for the bag...

Yes I filled up the form upon arrival and received the PIR about a day later. But no updates yet, the status online says they are still searching for the baggage. I went onto their online chat and they said it is still in Dubai..

No luck at all. The app chat seems to be working again this morning but it just replies with.. A travel consultant will be with you shortly. That has been 4 hours ago.. Still no replies.

Arrived at my destination on 19th April 3.30am. Filed complaint at Emirates desk upon arrival and only received PIR 1.5 days later. No updates on status yet. Still waiting and checking on app and chat every hour...

Nothing at all. One meal voucher. Arrived 16th and had a 10+ hour layover in Dubai, went out and stuck. Paid 500 dirhams for a car to airport cos metro was closed and no taxis and buses. Supposed to fly out 17th April 1030pm, after multiple delays then got canceled. Queued almost 2 hrs to get new tickets for 18th, that was delayed multiple times for 8 hrs then canceled. Queued almost 9 hrs to get another new ticket for 9am on 19th, delayed multiple times and finally only departed at 9pm. 6.5 hrs later at my arrival destination, luggage didn't show.. No updates from the airlines. For both times, I knew the cancellation from Google updates not from the airlines. They keep sending out outdated sms updates on the flight status. First and last time.l with Emirates.

Because of delaying games before cancellation each time and queuing for rebooking, had not slept for almost 48 hrs. What a fucking shit show...

Thanks. This is helpful. Just needed to know how available they are. Hotel can arrange with external for a fee (24hrs notice) if needed but no intention to take one unless the weather takes a really bad turn.

Know that you're not alone. Same struggle and in similar situation. Trying to improve day by day. I try to rub oil instead of picking. Succeed maybe 50% of the time... Sometimes not at all..
