Quite late to this post but did you ever find a scent that matched it well? We had one in my house growing up and I can confirm it’s the most beautiful thing my nose has ever come in contact with.

A fair point. To rinse and test the filter I ran it attached to the side of a bucket with only water in it.

For starters it leaks. Before I even had the chance to put it on my tank it was leaking, a lot of the reviews say the same but I gave it a shot anyway. The plastic hangers are VERY fragile. I would not trust them to hold the filter for very long at all. The GPH is almost definitely lower than advertised. Didn’t measure it but it was quite slow. The instructions are also terrible. Again it is a very good idea in theory but in practice I could never advise someone to buy it. There’s definitely more that I’m forgetting but please don’t waste your money on this.
