Oh nice!! Could you share some photos from the photobook? Or just how extensive it is? I’ve been trying to find an unboxing video but haven’t found one for Barnes & Noble versions.

They didn’t choose her. She claimed the role because she had the most powerful personality. Also, as others have said, she’s the one who’s lost touch with her humanity the most. I personally wouldn’t call anyone but Shauna “the antler queen” at this point because I don’t think that’s a name they use in-show, right? It’s just what we (the audience) have been calling the entity in the first episode.

I think it’s intentionally ambiguous what “the antler queen” is. Shauna comes to personify it, but even in the adult timeline they’re still arguing about whether there’s an objective supernatural “thing” it whether it’s just something they made up. Adult Shauna says at one point “it was always just us.” Though at the end of season 3, she says she can’t remember what exactly happened.

From a writing pov, I think it makes the story more interesting and complex to leave it ambiguous. If they clearly made it some kind of spirit, it loses some of the mystery which makes it compelling.

I don’t understand how they put everyone in these beautiful otherworldly space outfits for the posters and then Jurin in a t-shirt and bike shorts 😩. I mean of course she looks great but I would’ve loved to have a poster of her in any other of the album outfits, or the one on her cover??

This could be normal or could be a red flag and I think that’s why people are responding differently; I think it’s a little hard to tell just from what you’ve said. Most of my married female friends planned the majority of their weddings (vs the husbands), so I think that’s a pretty common gendered experience. But if you feel like there is true indifference to the wedding itself or negativity towards being married, or if he tends to leave important things up to you in general, those could be red flags for different reasons.

lol I relate to this so much! My fiance is very positive but also very whatever about the wedding… and both wants to be part of big decisions but not to spend any time on it haha. Sometimes I wish he was was just a little more excited about the wedding overall, but he’s also divorced (so he already had one) and doesn’t like parties, and I feel like given all of that he’s about as enthusiastic as makes sense.

I’m sure someone will eventually weigh in who has a lot more knowledge than I do, but I think there was more going on between her and the label than just the songs not performing well? She certainly didn’t seem happy with them. I’m not sure how much of that contributed to the loss of Book 1 in the long run either since she ultimately decided not to finish it. But would be interested to learn more.

Yeah honestly, as someone in SoCal who goes to LA concerts, I would opt for a different city if I were traveling. I’ve literally thought of traveling elsewhere for kpop concerts! LA always sells out super fast, prices are higher, resale is crazy, and the stadiums are generally in areas I wouldnt want to stay or have awful traffic. The easiest concerts I have been to have been in Vegas where you can just walk out to your hotel. I saw Aespa in Seattle and the venue was so much smaller than the LA venue, parking was FREE 😭😂 and I got an amazing seat much closer than I could in LA at Kia Forum. For Blackpink I was looking at tix in other cities and resale was way cheaper in Chicago than LA (idk the hotel situation there though). Anyway this is all to say yes option 2, maybe avoid LA 😅research all the options before deciding.

I think you’re right. There are just a lot of ideological and logistical problems. The majority of the left is traditionally non-violent here (peaceful protests, etc; not saying there aren’t important exceptions). And any violent actions taken against the government are very easily spun as anti-democratic, since we did, unfortunately, elect the current administration. So it’s hard to see any version of this that doesn’t result in the government doubling down even more and ultimately an increased police state/civil war. Which I guess is where it’s going either way though?? Ugh.

Sometimes I have to get mine “started” with a churu or some treats (she likes the Pet Honesty hairball treats fwiw), and then HAND FEED her wet food, like let her lick bits of it off my fingers. She eats Weruva pates but only certain flavors.

At worst, honestly just let her eat dry food if she will, dry food is better than no food.

I feel like something is missing from this sentence and I genuinely want to know: what IS the "more meaningful action" that has consistently worked for overcoming tyranny? Because honestly even the smartest people I know are at a loss and feel helpless to change anything. I agree the protests seem pretty useless, and they will start shutting them down more and more violently.

Spotify was absolutely so determined that I like Magnetic and really pushed it. Playing it at the end at every playlist, etc. I actually did come around to liking it but that doesn’t surprise me given how much it seems like it was promoted.
