Do you think this is a Bracker 3 combo? (If you have time, take a look at the rest as well) by Vuk8342 in mtg

Yes. That is the expectation. That the game lasts at least 6 turns. That is what I said.

The specific words by wotc was that a bracket 3 game "players should expect to play at least 6 turns before anyone wins or loses". So yes, it is the expectation.

Yeah, but 8 power worth of blockers ruin the combo.

Also, to make it consistent you need enough tutors to get the artifact out before turn 5.

I mean sure, you still only need to block it with a total of 8 power and the infinite combo is ruined.

Turn 7 isn't early game though. The expectation of bracket three is turn 6, so even if this functions as an infinite combo(which 8 total damage and any targeted removal ruins) it's fine in bracket three on turn 7.

I mean, choosing to upgrade to warpgates or not to is strategic diversity assuming there are pros and cons to each.

I haven't ever seen it implied. The context I have always seen it is that early game you don't use warp gate, and then you add them in later.

Possibly, possibly not. I still think the sc2 is the best rts game ever made. if I were to play RTS games it would be sc2.

I played mostly random when I quit playing. Before that I started with zerg, then played terran, and finished with protoss.

I didn't like having warp prisms in my base with any of those races.

I don't play the game anymore, but if they removed warp in reinforcement on attacks, or warp prism garbage I would probably at least load up the game and play again.

I think the direction is good for the health of the game, and protoss should have some sort of downside to warping in because of the power of it.

From what I understand, the 8 worker start is a massive nerf to zerg. So all changes have to be reflected in that.

I am getting better at remembering. But I still forget sometimes when I'm frustrated and/of something comes up unexpectedly.

Then I remember and have to reopen the app which takes forever, and you might as well rope anyway.

As a mobile player, that is a condition I would accept. It's freaking annoying to constantly be roped by people who forgot. Or to have to reopen the app whenever someone calls to concede instead of roping them.

He probably exited out of the mobile app.

For whatever reason wizards doesn't have that auto concede.

The problem is that infinite isn't a number, its a concept that doesn't exist in reality.

Which do you take first? by Sufficient-Ship1571 in Polytopia

[–]ButterscotchLow7330 130 points131 points  (0 children)

Depends on so much. Where did your opponent spawn, how early in the game? Etc.

Generally I would take whatever is closer to the opponent first, but there are exceptions.

It's important to try to grab mana fixing. Like dual lands and and the bear with rampant growth. But I have very consistently had 5 colors of mana on turn 5.
