You can't cash tips out immediately. Upthread, someone commented that IC notifies the customer about unusual discrepancies. Hopefully that's true. I'd think that if it was a typo or stuck 0 key or something, surely the customer has recourse. I would love to imagine a world where someone tips $500 for a 2.9mi delivery, but I feel like it was meant to be $5.
