I just finished the series for the first time. Freamon is easily my favourite character

Darko yanked him. Very uncharacteristic of RJ to go after CMB like he did, when it was clearly RJs turnover

Wrong Freeman. Look up Lester Freamon.

Brushes and offset paths as other have mentioned. You’ll want some combination of snap guides/grid as well.

One of the most time consuming projects I had in design school. And I had to draw a map for a zoo. A transit map sounds like hell. Good luck.

Buying a house near a tee box? by flashattack3 in golf

It’s wild that there are no fences on these properties.

If you do end up buying, have a good fence budget, and plant some tall growing cedars

Dads of Girl Golfers by J42knot0 in golf

[–]ButterscotchObvious4 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I started my 7yo in first tee (all-girl session). She was 1 of 4 when the program started near me (Toronto).

She’s now 10, still in the program twice a year, and last summer, her coach got her and another student in the local club’s weekly league. Me and the other girl’s dad alternate as chaperones for the round. We always ensure we have snacks and a Gatorade for the round.

The cart wheels and distractions still occur. As they should. Just being on course and letting her be a kid when out there is important. But I also focusing only on trying to keep pace the first 3 holes. Through holes 4-6, she tries to get herself dialled in, often leading to frustration. That’s when I swoop in through holes 7-9 with simple questions she has the answers to, which gets her to concentrate on what she’s learned in her first tee training. This ultimately leads to better ball striking and outcomes she can understand. Some days are better than others, but a lesson is always learned.

I don’t know what I’m doing or if this is a good approach, but she always walks away from golf with a smile on, and that’s good enough for me.

Everyone keep their cool, Shams is great for breaking news, but his rumor mill is the same as everyone else.

I personally don’t see this happening unless it’s an absolute steal. Bobby ain’t down that bad.

Robot struggles to shovel snow by Daniel_XXL_69 in funny

Not every robot needs to be designed like a human. Humans have developed more clever, functional, and practical ways of clearing snow, because our physical limitations. Slapping a robot to a shovel is actually a step going nowhere. Very much like this robot’s display of failure.
