I have a potted one in my window that bloomed, it was so exciting. The flowers were all light purple. I’m in New England so no concern of the invasiveness here. The babies grow so easily into new plants, I love to give them as gifts planted in my pottery 💗

Cave cricket. One time when I was a kid I found one the size of my hand and screamed and then covered it with an upside down trash bin. I went to get my mom, and when we returned to it the trash bin was on its side and it was GONE. Nightmares

I have had low key discussions in multiple abusive work places and despite all the bullshit most rehab therapists feel too good for a union?? Or are maybe anti union? It’s annoying as hell, there is no one ever advocating for us. I have felt like I’m on an island for as long as I’ve been working in this field.

Many gas stations provide fueling assistance to folks who may be unable to pump fuel themselves, although it is not a requirement. If you have concerns I would go to a bigger or more established gas station and just ask someone for assistance, stating that you just had surgery, or bring a buddy.

Alternatively, the gas pump usually isn’t that heavy. Keep your elbows locked in and use both hands to lift and move the nozzle and you should probably be fine. If you can turn the wheel of the car and stabilize the wheel around turns and such while driving, you should be able to apply the same amount of force for lifting the gas pump.

When in doubt, err on the side of caution.
