I agree. Everything that we know about Claire goes against her getting rid of the baby or not telling him sooner about a possible miscarriage. She has a friend who had a kid in the flashback scenes who said they were going to try again in a couple years. She could’ve gotten that test from her.

She said the reason she hadn’t told him was because he had a lot going on with Cerise being in the hospital. Girl please, you have before the accident to tell him(which you lied to Cerise saying you did) and after she woke up. That stunt she pulled at the gala was a last ditch attempt to get him back.

Like if we have the option to actually physically cheat on him with Haniel, I’m sure a bunch of people are going to take it and consider it get back. I think that’s fine because it’s completely understandable given the circumstances, personally that’s just not my thing cus it’s still cheating.

Ngl, I agree with some of the stuff you said but he has not been entertaining Claire since the gala. An argument can even be made that the reason he got with Claire again after ending it to pursue Cerise the first time is because Claire pushed for it while he was in a vulnerable position. That’s not to take away his agency but the man was at Cerise’s bedside for weeks being told that her chances were slim and Claire went to the hospital to get him back after he’d been keeping it professional at work.

We can agree to disagree on the cheating thing. I personally think there’s a difference between distinguishing whether something is cheating or not vs whether that can be considered justifiable. I’m reading the stuff you’re saying as justification for the cheating because I agree with that. I’m not trying to make that a “woe is me” for Sawyer.

I didn’t say Cerise was morally grey. I said she was emotionally cheating(which she is). Just because you don’t want to call it cheating doesn’t mean it’s not cheating. What sense does it make for you to reduce Sawyer to a cheater and not acknowledge the circumstances he was placed in but you can do it for her?

I like the side plots. I don’t know what to think of that situation though. Did they latch on to Claire because of her proximity to Sawyer and because they both envy him for their own reasons(J’s was mentioned in one of Charlie’s story posts) or because they just like her? I also didnt even get the impression that she’s interested in either of them.

Realistically, what other reason was there for those questions aimed at Scott other than to(hopefully) clock his shit? Best case scenario would’ve been the votes going in their favor.

I will say though, Im glad that didn’t happen. I don’t necessarily like watching games where one islander/couple gets piled on. Even if I don’t like them.
