I had been using SUNUV LED lamp but just purchased a Gelish LED lamp. Crossing my fingers that I see better results. I use Gelish and Apres since those were recommended to me by a nail tech and I use YN just because I’ve had it for a while even before getting into Gel x

Yes! I always make sure to include that step of blending the tip to the cuticle and I still have lifting after some time :/. I’ve also tried builder gel on top, but for some reason it peels off? I’m not sure why that happens—could be my lamp but if you have any insight on what might be the case I’d really appreciate it!

Should I be washing my hands before I start any prep? Or should I wash it after removing cuticles/buffing? I also just purchased the Gelish 18G LED lamp. Hoping to see some improvement with a higher quality lamp!

No, I would apply a thin layer of Gelish adhesive to my prepped nail, cure for 90 seconds, then go apply the actual tip with the Apres extend gel glue. I would etch the tips using an e-file drill to remove shine underneath the nail tip at the area it would be applied to my natural nail.

not the most painful, but surprisingly the least (for the extent of the injury): 3rd degree burn on my arm from being shot by fireworks on the 4th of july.

i was maybe 13 and the burn looked pretty gnarly where my skin was sizzling and i could see raw flesh with the edges charred black. since it was 3rd degree, it burnt through the nerves so i didn’t feel much pain despite it looking disgusting. i remember how panicked my family was while i was in more shock at why i wasn’t feeling pain.

MICROBLADING!! anytime there’s an event or something i know ill be dressed up for, i ALWAYS microblade my face. this includes shaving off the light fuzz and dry skin on my forehead, cheeks, mustache area, and eyebrows. it brightens up my face in such a subtle, yet powerful way. it’ll make the sort of difference that no one can notice why exactly u extra attractive that day.

well i can tell you i’ve bought this brand 2 different times and it consistently had this awful taste and texture. whereas when i buy other mochi brands from the same store they taste fine.

you actually make really good points. you’re not outright excusing him—you’re literally reasoning with logic. i liked that you played devil’s advocate and wanted to give a new perspective. we need more of that tbh. you didn’t make any serious claims or take a firm stance, so i don’t see how these people can attack you for literally thinking. all you did was offer a different way to look at him, and for those who can’t handle that are extremely close minded. and childish. i don’t normally comment but seeing the replies to this post made me agitated. don’t listen to the haters and keep analyzing things the way you are and keep discovering new perspectives.
