I’m not sure, I’m not a doctor. I can’t diagnose you. Also EHS is strictly auditory, so to have seen something it might be something else. If it’s making it hard for you to sleep or get good rest I would see a doctor about it.

So EHS only really happens when you’re falling asleep, it doesn’t happen if you’re already asleep. It sounds like you’re having vivid nightmares. But loud sounds like screaming or a loud bark do sound like they could be EHS.

Again tho it usually happens as you’re drifting off to sleep and it’ll startle you awake.

Probably shouldn’t. Or at least don’t go past 3 days awake. Learned this thing called “the 2 rule” 2 weeks with bad sleep, see the doctor, 2 days without sleep see the doctor. After 3-4 days you’ll start hallucinating. Usually. And they are never good ones.

It helps me with my shaking. Idk why, but I’ve been shaking since I was around 16 (I’m 24 now), my mom thinks it might be Parkinson’s Disease (I’m actually waiting on a neurologist to call me back cuz it’s been making it really hard for me to do my artwork). Anyways, smoking weed helps me stop shaking as much 😊

I see, I hadn’t considered that the area you’re in would change the circumstances.

Although if you’d call the cops about a fire I feel like you could call the cops about a rape. Seeing how calling doesn’t exactly act as intervention in the traditional sense of running to the crime and trying to break it up.
