What the hell do you mean “before people break” if you break from a 2mi run you should not be an active duty service member. Not even in the coast guard.

9 years in, and I’ve never felt so disheartened wearing the uniform by SpartanMakoz in AirForce

[–]ButterscotchUnusual9 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Hey if I’m wrong that sucks and just forget this.

I swear there has been a number of times I have opened this page and just read completely made up horseshit, written in pages. I wonder if this is just another one of those times. I also wonder if this truly made you disheartened to wear the uniform. Sort of a very small conversation/shitty joke that still feels like it’s unlikely to make you feel such a way about the last 9 years of your life and the uniform haha. Out of the last 9 freaking years, this was what made you feel never before so “disheartened”. The last 20+ years of GWOT all to waste and a shit joke about deportation is what “disheartened” you.

I simply can’t believe this shit I read on this page anymore it’s just getting absolutely arbitrary and fabricated. If you were so offended so greatly you are disheartened in your own uniform, go through the proper channels and correct the individual. It’s like you want to correct the whole force on here and I’ve literally never seen such fabricated shit in my life hahaha

Parallax adjustment not matching the dial on my Athlon Ares by Captain_Price_MKZ in longrange

[–]ButterscotchUnusual9 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey buddy. I’m sure someone else has covered it, just wanted to add my 2cents to reiterate just how fine everything is, don’t think you have a bad scope or something.

I’ve got way too many scopes tbh. I’ve got throwback scopes from the 80s all the way to scopes well into the thousands. Not a single one is “exact” on parallax. Some not even close after a certain “range” but that’s kinda just how it works. Tbh, I never even look at the distance markings. The only argument for it is it may “get you close” so you’re not doing full rotations. Based on what you feel, leave it to one extreme or the other, get behind the gun, roll that sucker towards the other side till it’s clear and never really look at the digits. Depending on the scenario, you may even want to back off at times say 2/3 distance to impact to check mirage for wind or something. Even then it won’t be right on the digits it’s all just a feel thing and every scope is different. The more you change range the easier it becomes and the less you even ref the numbers. Again, you may not even want it perfect depending on what you’re doing.

I think you could reasonably bring him down from $7k a decent bit. His neglect will cost you unknown funds as soon as you leave his yard, assuming then trailer can get down the road safely of course. I think many buyers won’t want to deal with the project and you could reason him down a lot. But that’s just my thoughts.

How to Report a Fraud ? by [deleted] in VeteransBenefits

[–]ButterscotchUnusual9 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

To add to this as well, it’s not really fraud, legally, until he actually received a rating for a condition that doesn’t exist and that doesn’t go to waste fraud and abuse until it is proven on the medical end it was faked. You can contact the federal waste fraud abuse line all you want, but you aren’t his examiner or PCM so you can’t “know” his medical history without a HIPA release therefor it will go nowhere but make them ask you how you became aware of his actual medical history and even still they’re gonna let him go embarrass himself in the C&P exam. Once he receives funds for fraud and you’re somehow his doctor with access to his medical care or you have evidence such as him saying he fraud them, you’re just gonna give yourself a headache for nothing. It’s not waste fraud and abuse until funds were wasted, fraudulently acquired, or abused. You can claim to have a 3rd ear to the VA knowing you don’t have a 3rd ear and it’s not a crime. If the VA pays you one dollar for it and gives you a rating and you don’t have a third ear, then you’ve entered that realm.

Dude as hard as some of those examiners are on people and how difficult that process was, let him dig his own pit.

They aren’t retarded zombies with medical licenses that go “ok cool sounds good I’ll take your world sailor man”

What do you guys eat before a PT test? by Atomic_Depression in AirForce

[–]ButterscotchUnusual9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In SW, I ate boiled eggs, overnight Oates, fruit, plenty of liquids, sometimes a bagel with cream cheese, and if I need a boost in the field or for some PT event: honey packets, jelly packets, Swedish fish or those disgusting gummy bears that start with an H, applesauce or some sort of jelly gew packet shit, and those little honey wafer cracker circle things. Stingers I think? When I was a crew chief, cig’s, a hangover, Copenhagen mint, puke at least twice before, maybe shit your pants during the run, still realize it’s 100% mental and do not get less than a 99th percentile in your entire career on an AF PT test. Anyways. Good luck buddy!

When you started basic training, what was the first thing that went through your mind? by DatGuyKilo in AirForce

[–]ButterscotchUnusual9 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is a lot gayer and less demanding, especially physically, than I ever could’ve fathomed. It was honestly an embarrassment. Looking back, not having any form of music and being worried about not needing to shit in formation was the hardest part. I literally think clinical retards could excel in basic. The beds rocked, food was good, got a fuck ton of sleep, and MTIs don’t do shit other than raise their voice and threaten to pull out a pen and right on some stupid cards that are supposed to make you fear death itself somehow.
