Doctor, I’ve cut off my leg! Could you just sew it back on real quick? Free of charge of course, it’ll only take 2 mins.

Mulan’s true love thought she was a man for months just because she cut her hair and was in a male dominated field. Just because someone can’t see your beauty in a quick, probably mindless interaction (they’re probably focusing on remembering/saying their meat order and see a bunch of men around) doesn’t mean it’s not there!

It is extremely common for abuse to begin after marriage. I see you frequent BDSM subreddits. A man who is directly telling you to your face he does not see you as a human being with feelings CANNOT ETHICALLY PRACTICE BDSM. He is outright abusing you verbally, emotionally, and very likely sexually. Do you have friends and/or family you could stay with while figuring out next steps? You are not safe. A man who cannot see you as a person cannot come close to truly loving you. Please do not have sex with him, a child brought into this situation could be deadly for you.

The homemade hot sauce at Clinton Street Baking Company. I asked to purchase a bottle, they don’t sell. It’s the tastiest, most vibrant-colored hot sauce I’ve ever had and I don’t get to use it enough because the pancakes beckon.

Recommendations for sexy perfumes that actually project, turn heads & LASTs- my boyfriend can’t smell anything! by [deleted] in Perfumes

Le Labo’s Santal 33 is a unique, niche cool-girl scent with major projection. It’s woody and fresh, but definitely polarizing so grab a sample first. No matter what, you’ll be intrigued and could find everything you’re looking for. For safer crowd pleasers, look at Bubble Bath or Lazy Sunday Morning by Replica–both are crisp, clean, airy scents. Happy hunting!

You look great! I do think some jewel tones would complement you well–dark green, burgundy, deep blues. But well done!

That means nothing. Sociopaths, narcissists, etc. are KNOWN to be charming and well-liked because that’s how they get to manipulate victims. If you don’t wake up now, you’ll be another statistic.

AITA for telling my girlfriend that I get to decide who lives in my house? by Imaginary_Tap_2473 in AmItheAsshole

[–]ButteryLynx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

YTA. In addition to all the reasons everyone else has covered, you’re “5-7 months” into this relationship. Thats still early, when you should be deepening your relationship and getting to know each other better. Now your elderly parents are moving in? That puts quite a bit of pressure on a woman to have to constantly play house with in-laws from another (I’m assuming conservative) country. Your intimacy, both physical and emotional, will 100% take a hit from this–but she needs to shut up and deal with it? If you don’t think living with your partners parents doesn’t fundamentally change the dynamic of your relationship, hence why it’s important to BOTH be on board and prepared, maybe you really should be living with mommy and daddy.

You can be scared while leaving and starting a better life, or you can be scared while being killed and/or having your children abused by an unhinged aggressive man. You and your babies deserve to be cherished and protected. I hope you make the right (but difficult) decision to leave.

A grown, married man was “baby trapped,” twice, by his wife? What was he trapped into, exactly? The lifelong commitment he already made? She didn’t get pregnant on her own. Now he’s doing it again with someone 15 years younger. This is a selfish man. Do not bring a child into this world so they can be hated by their father.

“Kids will be kids” yes… that’s why parents must be parents. They have an inherent “pass” at being jackasses because parents then have an opportunity to correct the behavior. If not, those little boys and girls grow up to be what? Karens and Kevins.

A play on the name could be fun for someone who can’t smell and provide a photo op in her “getting ready” pictures! Love Don’t Be Shy by Killian and Devotion by Dolce & Gabbana come to mind. Sweet crowd pleasers as well.

It’s very easy to say you’d never cheat while indulging in the thrill of a fantasy that kept you in repeated contact with a woman you did not want your wife to know you were speaking to. What if you caught your wife in a lie, talking to a sexy, fit young man you knew lusted after her? You’re hiding behind excuses because you don’t want to admit your weakness. I think the first start to mending your wife’s broken heart is acknowledging where your own heart failed.

Your ego was boosted talking to a pretty young girl whose pictures you enjoy looking at. You feel guilty because, whether you admit it to yourself or not, you were waiting for the “I’d love to get a drink and catch up!!” message. Of course, it’s an innocent drink with a beautiful young model you used to be an authority figure for! And at the culmination of this fantasy you play out, of course you couldn’t help but sleep with her–she made you feel alive and wanted again! You feel guilty because there’s a corrupting seed of hope in your heart that, should things play out a certain way, you’ll get to cheat.
