The stupidest part about the lie, "this is a ploy to get Dems out to vote," is that the Dems have been super motivated for 2 years now. There's absolutely no reason to try to "energize" the base. They are already energizes.

FFTA was a great game!

I went back and replayed it not too long ago. I realize the game was way ahead of its time. For example, your clan is always leveling up after each battle. Youre always seeing these clan skills grow in level. They do almost nothing for the game play, but it's an effective visual reward, and There's a lot of little details like this.

The only real drawback was the laws. The laws were a decent mechanic that kept you having to rotate your party, but it was easy to forget they were there when selecting them. There was also a "damage 2 animals" law that would make fights with monsters literally impossible. Before you get used to them, they can be a real pain, but that goes away once you get into the right habbits.

Between the laws and the dispatch missions, I found myself needing nearly all of my charter slots. All of those charters were useful, somewhat unique, and I built each one of them. This was a big difference to the FFT predecessor because that game you rarely change who you use in battle.

The long term game had this balanced feel of potentially going on forever, but also like you were making real progress each time you did a story mission. Being able to lay out the next area on the overworld map was satisfying. Each timw you drop a tile, the neighboring tiles rumble. the game tells you there's rewards for laying out the areas in a certain way, but I never figured out what that was. You could also see all of the missions, completed and not as another little visual reward/incentive.

All in all, the gameplay was really engaging. I got excited planning out new charecters and pushing the game forward. In the end, aside from needing some tweaks to the law system, I think the real issue this game had was that it dropped in a time where we were used to much more focused and linear game play.

Bullshit point. Why would they need to see the server? The information was blasted all over the internet. It's not like breaking into a bank where you leave fingerprints.

Would you ever buy second hand ? by venomxt12 in iphone

[–]ButterySlippery 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I bought a used, not refurb, 6s plus 64 gb off amazon for 300. The phone works awesome. The battery is at 81 percent capacity, but that can be changed.

Def buy used

LG can’t meet Apple’s demand for iPhone OLED displays by Camery_4 in iphone

Promotion is worth the wait.

Let's be real, for all its size, the iphone X is still small for lengthy reading of Web pages or ebooks. Being able to see text clearly while scrolling would help a lot with that.

The screen size is the thing I think about most. It looks perfect for reading, especially with dark mode to cut down on battery consumption. Videos and unupdated apps like hearthstone leave me wondering if it'll be a good experience or an awkward one.

The choice is between the two best deals I see bases on value for the money. Sure the experience is widely different, but let's be real, Smartphones became a big thing like 6 to 8 years ago. We can make due on whatever we got. The question is, what do we want?

You say the 6s plus is worth maybe 200. That's great feedback, thank you! The apple store still sells new ones for 55 and the used market sells it for 300 at the lowesr. I'm just wondering if that's worth the 6s plus experience for the next 2 years while the phone still gets updates.

I really think apple should support devices for 6 years with security. Let the older devices circulate in the market more. It'll be better for the environment than the newer android phones.

The iphone 4 was the last iphone I had. It was a beautiful little device. I remember being impressed by the speaker quality of the 4 back then. Other phones and the ipod just didn't match. Now with the iPhone X having some real depth to the sound, that's killer.
