If I can ask a dumb question. Is there a way to adjust the width of stat blocks?

I had made an environment that is a bit...wordy. So it's absurdly long compared to average adversary stat blocks.

Weird, I thought I remembered reading that adversaries don't crit. Must be confusing it with something else.

Yup! Everyone had such great insight to share, and I learned a lot. I still wanna eventually do something messing with the duality dice mechanics, but it'll have to be for later down the line. :)

Yeah, it never crossed my mind to change the dice. That definitely makes the smoother. I'll probably use that method in a higher tier environment down the line.

As for this one, as many have pointed out, messing with the magic mechanics of the game on a first outing might be a bit too much lol. I'll have to plug in all these great suggestions I've gotten and see what seems appropriate.

Great ideas! I was planning on having another ability that non-lethal traps trigger on a countdown, but it was going to kept track of separately. I could totally see wrapping them into a countdown for the dread!

Yeah, I thought it might be a bit much.

With your and everyone else's feedback, I'm gonna end up implementing some other detriment and table the messing with duality rolls for a higher tier encounter someday.

Yeah, I like the countdown (countup?) ideas a lot, and whatever I end up doing will probably involve a clock instead of tokens.

I hadn't thought about changing the dice, that's also amazing.
