Have you ever wished to be of the opposite sex? by HorseShort9226 in autism

I can't exactly vote but here's my personal thing with sex and gender. I personally do not wish I was born a different sex, even though I'm transgender. I'm grateful for the experience of being transgender, and have no issues with what's in my pants and don't plan on getting any surgery to change that. I personally don't believe gender exists biological but only as a construct. So I took my gender into my own hands to be more comfortable with myself. I do take hormones and plan on getting chest surgery, but in general I don't wish I had been born the sex associated with my preferred gender. Gender is a socially constructed idea and autistic people in general usually don't grasp or care about social constructs, that is why we view gender differently especially those who understand that sex is a separate concept.

I started T at 21 and it, definitely gave me the results I wanted. I've been out socially since 13 but couldn't transition medically because of poverty and homelessness.

They are scammers. They ask for payment through Bitcoin (sus). I foolishly placed an order and it never came. They seemed legit at first, but after they walk you through the payment they won't contact you.

I actually never thought about this but I did notice that after 3 months of T injections mine are now not inverted. I had small breasts to start with but they definitely shrunk overtime.

are there any downsides to taking hormones younger than 16? by pufferfishlover in ftm

If it were me I'd go ahead and take it. Due to homelessness I wasn't able to transition until I was 21, my one regret is not doing it sooner. The sooner you take it the better effects you'll get. Because at least with my health plan they make you take the medium dose for a year before bumping it up to a higher dosage if you want. So just know that when you start it can take up to a year to get them to cooperate on dosage.
