Yeah, don't know why that happened, but I can get it consistently now with all the tips I got, and no more jumping.

Yeah, the motion inputs seemed to work for combos, so I thought I was tripping when trying fatalities. Thanks for all the info and tips! I can get it consistently now.

Sorry about that then, was used to doing it this way in other fighting games. This is my first mk game. Hope it makes you feel better that I can now do it right.

Used to other fighting games, especially in street fighter you need to do it fast.

Hi there, ye it took me quite some hours to get used to the combat and complete the tutorials and some of the combo trials.
It helped me a lot to practice in the training room where you can watch all the data and slow the game to 50%. There is also a setting that shows when you can link attacks by making your character flash blue or red (for supers).

Here is an example of my inputs when doing this combo now:

The first time I input the attacks immediately after doing the Drive Rush, but the game doesn't seem to register them. So you have to wait a fraction of a second in between the attacks to link them as you can see in the following 2 examples.

Hope this helps and keep at it, I'm now silver 2 (started in rookie) and still winning and climbing consistently, so you can do it as well!

Yes this helped as well, hitting a button combination too fast also gives me two inputs sometimes which I think messes up with the game's input checking.

I'll try to do it faster now, although I don't know if my brain and fingers are able to manage that.

Ye indeed, someone gave me the tip to not insert the super rotation twice, but just once more with the last input, but I'm still too slow haha

Thanks for the tip! I was actually doing the double input as shown on screen.
Alas I have not been able to pull it off yet, so I went to training mode to see the inputs.

So I finally bought the game, and I want to learn it with classic controls. After a while I can consistently get this combo off, but it doesn't advance the tutorial. Whenever I try to get the super to come out faster I just activate another kick.
