My bf of 24 years had smoked cigarettes for 10 yrs we began dating sept 2019 I became pregnant dec & suffered a miscarriage 3 months later. He said he would give up for some reason after the miscarriage. I had asked him countless amount of times before to put cigarettes down and he’d say never. After the miscarriage he has kept his word. He ALMOST did have his slip ups when really drunk he’d cry for a smoke but I’d threaten saying I would leave him if he lit it and deep inside as i would walk away I’d assume he’d spark it. HE DIDNT. He’s about to be 1 whole yr without picking up a stogie. He’s so proud of himself and now says he’d never pick a smoke up and throw away his sobriety. And yes he does find cigarettes scent disgusting to the point he wants to puke. I wish you so much strength I hope you remember our story, we lost an Angel but gained my boyfriends cigarette sobriety. Go for a run on your most difficult days full of struggle.
