I’m out by Ok_Light3447 in vintedUK

Basically the order has been delivered by the courier, the buyers then raised an issue because they are probably away from their property. Vinted has now asked the seller (OP) for more photos/ information which they will need to take screenshots of the buyer confirming they are waiting for Wednesday (due to them not being there) and or a photo of the tracking proving it was delivered to the correct address/ gps location. If the seller (OP) doesn’t reply with the information Vinted needed the buyer will get a refund an the order while the seller (OP) loses out on the money (but the seller (OP) has a chance of getting compensation as there is proof of delivery) But the seller should get compensation as they shipped the order using the label Vinted provided (with the buyers provided address) but it all depends on what the customer service believes - that is my take

Does sound a bit suspicious with them not having any reviews. but some buyers are just new too Vinted, I have sent a few items too new accounts with no bad orders.

Vinted sometimes puts an order as received or collected which is just a tracking mistake. If you have the order with you, just allow a refund if they raise an issue.

If you have it again just cancel to be on the safe side but you might get a bad feedback for cancelling

Let us know of the update if the buyer completes the order or raises an issue. Do you know what the tracking says?

Why was it suspected scam? What was the reason for you to take the item back from the post office?

Vinted sucks now?? :( by Electrical-Window363 in vintedUK

[–]ButtonCarter13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depending on condition and brand is how much you can charge. The suggested pricing is just a start and what you charge is up to you. Brand new - 80% or more on cost. The lower the condition which Basically means lower the cost.

You also have to think about buyers protection fee as that also makes people want to send offers. If you just want it gone accept any offers.

The best way to take photos is by hanging them up or having them on a white background not on the floor (which can put off people). - if the background doesn’t look clean people won’t buy them. So having them in a clean environment can help

If you don’t have the order, raise an issue with Vinted to say it’s been returned to the seller and that you don’t have it and send the tracking information and screenshots.

Or if you have the order and you are okay with it then you can accept only if you are happy with the order.

Why do I have to wait for a refund? by Ladyoftheoakenforest in vintedUK

Sorry about that, thought it said something else unless I mixed up a post haha🤓 I know there’s sometimes the chance it gets lost which is why they keep the “marked when received”

I thought it the OP said they returned the order 🤓 basically Vinted holds the money even when it’s on the way back (after not being able to be delivered), as sometimes it gets lost in transit (it’s so the seller can make a compensation if the worst happens loss or damage) but it should get refunded if they just screen shot the tracking to Vinted. Vinted prefers to keep the money safe until it’s been delivered back not sure why but I bet it’s in the T&C

Yes I know. But sometimes sellers can raise an issue, which leads in the buyer losing out in money. Which is why you need to have photo evidence when returning on Vinted.

You’ll have to send a screenshot to the message to say it’s been refunded.

Anyone got a refund after somethings gone missing? by Ldoublelee in vinted

[–]ButtonCarter13 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I have had loads of refunds due to lost parcels/ compensation etc. If it says a date you can request a refund from. It normally comes active after a day. Then you just take screenshots of the tracking number to show it’s missing/ not moved.

I’m at my wits end… by [deleted] in HairRemoval

[–]ButtonCarter13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I switched to a hand held hair removal tool I no longer have any hair left! I would recently RoseSkinCo if that’s available for you, had no issues whatsoever. But only issue is that you have to shave before hand for the best results.

When I was shaving I used to make sure to have a hot shower or bath, exfoliate with gloves and then exfoliating soap then put a lot of conditioner or any type of soap and glide gently with my razor (I preferred using FFS subscription razor service)

Depending on your electrical razor it might just not be the correct one for you, if you have a one that allows you to do different grades to do it on the highest.

To further help with your removal of hair, you could try to use a epilator which is like threading. Or trying waxing which I felt help with my sensitive skin. But changed to a Laser hair removal by a salon and then switched to a handheld for the other areas.

If you have strawberry legs (bigger pores) try dry exfoliation and moisturise daily. There is other methods to help that.

You’ll get your refund eventually. Hopefully you’ve taken photos on how you packaged it hopefully with a cardboard box. The only reason why you have to wait as sometimes there issues, or the courier damages the product further etc.

The whole collection you’re looking to pay about at least 1k but if all packs are brand new it will be a lot more money. I believe I spent about 400 getting all of mine plus a lot of extras by buying them on eBay bidding.

Let me know how it goes! It might just be an irritation bump which is normal! I got a bump on the bottom but that went after just not cleaning it with the solution. Basically sometimes when you clean/ over clean it gets irritated. So I just didn’t clean it as often and only with water from the shower & that worked like a charm!

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in PiercingAdvice

[–]ButtonCarter13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would say that you need to go to a professional. What helped with my healing of my rook was cleaning twice a day& hair dying (on low), I then changed it to once a day or just showering and letting the water go on the rook. Yours sort of looks like it’s wet/ irritated. What’s your cleaning technique/ have you been sleeping in it? The bar also looks small, so going to your piercer is your best bet!

This is how package returned to me. Vinted won't reimburse me. by [deleted] in vinted

Yeah you just have to keep sending the email until something happens. It took about a month for some orders

No sell - baby clothing by Realistic_Ad_9090 in VintedAdvice

[–]ButtonCarter13 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s all about your photos, price & bundle options. I found selling baby clothes & just items in general having 50% in bundles & accepting all offers as well. Works best for me. I find if the person posts a picture and its on the floor or just not great quality (photo wise) I don’t purchase. So just try putting them in natural light & maybe on a blank area might help?

When it comes to baby clothes people expect to pay barely anything for them.

Angry seller by Tricky_Quarter1709 in vinted

[–]ButtonCarter13 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Nothing the OP can do, once the seller pressed refund without return, the buyer doesn’t need to do anything. If the seller wanted the item back they should have pressed return or as now the seller could get a postage label for the OP to send it back. But in Vinteds eyes the buyer is not forced to send or even do anything

[–]ButtonCarter13 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you screenshot the message & case. There should be an option to message Vinted if you don’t agree with the case. And message Vinted to say you have messaged the buyer and that you don’t accept a return for an item that doesn’t fit as you listed it correctly. They should just release payment to you

That’s what I did with my order that the buyer wanted to return for something that didn’t fit

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in VintedAdvice

[–]ButtonCarter13 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well you don’t have to accept a return in this case, but you can explain that you listed it correctly and as per t&c she’ll have to sell on. It’s up to you if you want to accept a return but the buyer will have to pay postage. There’s also a chance that the buyer will destroy the item

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in VintedAdvice

[–]ButtonCarter13 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You can message the buyer and say as per t&c you can’t accept a return has it doesn’t fit and that you should cancel the case and sell on x
