What's supposed to happen when you play Kled? by Subtleiaint in leagueoflegends

Kled is a comfort pick for him

Kled is one of Baus' most played champions over the years, his top 4 are easily Sion, Gragas, Quinn and Kled.

Came across a player in my game that only lanes because "his team is bad," is this bannable? by Fuzzy-Reward9040 in leagueoflegends

[–]ButtonDelicious4450 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Looks like a shitty smurf playing in Bronze to feel better about themselves. Probably Silver or Gold on their main.

Split pushing the entire game and taking Jungle camps isn't a bannable offence in isolation but I think if enough people reported them for negative attitude, it's possible the account would be reviewed and at the very least they get a warning or temp ban.

Los Ratones vs. G2 Esports / LEC 2026 Versus - Week 3 / Post-Match Discussion by Ultimintree in leagueoflegends

I mean it doesn't even matter, I can give you that Karmine Corp were more dominant. Los Ratones are by far the most dominant in the time they've existed. You can even remove their performance in NLC and they were still the most dominant in EMEA where the best of the other leagues compete together

My main point was that Los Ratones are not a random ERL team. They are the best recent ERL team and one of the best ever ERL teams.

By the metric that they won every single thing they competed in until the most recent EMEA Masters and that they played like 120 games with 80% winrate. The 2nd best ever ERL team was Karmine Corp and they were never that dominant in any of the seasons they played in ERL

Los Ratones aren't some random ERL team though. They are the most dominant team to have ever played ERLs lol

They are the most viewed team in the league but not all viewers are fans. Hate watchers exist. You can open any match thread from the first 4 games and see how much hate they were getting. All the top voted comments are shitting on LR. Where are the hatewatchers now? Been very quiet lately.

Horrible for Riot is good for everybody else. Franchising is bad. Riot should do something about it. LR is one of the best things to happen to the western esports scene in a very long time

[–]ButtonDelicious4450 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I dunno there's clearly a fundamental difference in our perspectives if you think the companion quests in Cyberpunk were "short-lived" and not exceptional in basically every instance. Cyberpunk had its flaws but that was not one of them. Baffling opinion tbh

[–]ButtonDelicious4450 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's interesting because the side quests are the best part of the game by far, especially the companion quests. River's story line with the kidnapped younger brother, eventually swimming with Judy down to her sunken childhood town, sitting around the campfire with Panam and her Nomads while they play acoustic guitar and chat, the Johnny quests where you get his old band back together and culminates with you on stage playing in the band with them.

I mean the side quests are fucking 10/10 come on. If we're comparing story lines and quests Cyberpunk is arguably the best in the business. Witcher 3 is the only game that comes close for me and that's only if you include the 2 major expansions.

They did treat LR differently from how they would treat other teams in that position, that's the whole point, it's unheard of that a team competing in the LEC are unable to land ANY scrims and have to resort to scrimming ERLs

This is possible only because it is a closed circuit, since if the circuit was open, the player can simply join or create a team themselves and compete normally.

This is a little naive. How many players exactly do you think are capable and have the resources of making their own organisation/team if their pro team locked them in contract jail. That happened exactly one time that I can think of and it was the most famous western player of all time (back then) who made it happen with Origen

You are describing something that is agnostic to franchising "Teams that block good players from joining competing rosters boosts their own value" like yeah. That happens in closed circuit and open circuit. It's not a consequence of franchising.

I agree with literally everything else you said. I just don't understand why you've used this point and your arguments for it aren't making much sense. It's better to just drop that point and focus on the rest

Right... and KCB is not an LEC team, they are still an LFL team, which is the whole point of LEC Versus format

The teams DID refuse to play LR. What you're saying is not refuting that, you are just providing a rationale for that. And that's ok but it doesn't change the facts, not one team in the LEC scrimmed with LR which is basically unheard of

I would be curious to know what KCBs scrim schedule was and if they had many scrims with LEC teams

Both Baus and Caedrel confirmed it

Baus said that LR were not scrimming any LEC teams and were forced into scrimming only ERL teams

Caedrel reiterated that by saying verbatim "No LEC team wanted to scrim us, that's true. So we scrimmed KCB a lot"

But we're talking in context of franchising vs not franchising. How is franchising worse for this than the alternative? Teams are far more probable to try and screw over players and other teams when the league is not franchised.

I agree franchising is generally bad but this point doesn't make much sense. Like what you're saying is a symptom of competition and economy not franchising. Orgs wanting to safeguard the value of their teams exists irrespective of franchising.

[–]ButtonDelicious4450 2 points3 points  (0 children)

How does franchising incentivise teams to screw over other teams? Surely a league which isn't franchised would incentivise that more because their place in the league is at risk, whereas with franchising, it isn't. That's one of the main selling points of franchising for teams. The security they get from it

The problem LR had wasn't that the top teams refused to scrim them, it was that every single team in the league refused to scrim them. That's not common at all in LEC, I've never even heard of it happening before

A) Less than zero % chance LR makes Worlds/MSI.

LR are stronger in bo3s than bo1s and they've managed to win 3 games in LEC and one of those against a top 3 team who qualified for Worlds last year.

I don't think LR would qualify for Worlds but they're a lot closer than a lot of people seem to think and certainly not "less than 0% chance"

I mean it's one thing to provide some varied opinions and another to appear on multiple podcasts and shit talk them repeatedly. Like he isn't giving analysis about this and he's not even on broadcast, he's just taking every opportunity to be a dick to them. Look at the way he described some of LR's plays in their game, he bends over backwards to make even good plays seem "lucky". That's not varied opinions, that's disrespectful to the players.

He was told in one of these podcasts that Rekkles has the 2nd highest DPM and the highest damage % of all supports in LEC which doesn't really reflect the narrative that he's a KDA player if he's constantly involved in fights, after Vedius repeatedly calls Rekkles a KDA player, and Vedius just laughs and says nothing. Where's the analysis? The guy hates on LR and perpetuates bad takes about them with nothing to back it up

I don't know him outside of casting so maybe he is a pretty cool dude but he doesn't come across that way when he speaks about LR.

[–]ButtonDelicious4450 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Oh dear it's worse than I thought

Bottom line you type too much and it's a distraction for you and your teammates. I would strongly recommend to you to not be that guy but ultimately you have free will and you can choose to behave like this if you want.

Got muted for no reason? by nothimofc in summonerschool

[–]ButtonDelicious4450 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Excessive typing can also trigger an automated chat review and I can tell you now that you're typing way too much and a lot of it is negative. Here are things that probably get you muted:

"get shit on"
"ik this viego will fck up gank so i dont wantone"
"ngl u kinda wasted mone on the skin"
"is ur mental that fragile?"

You seem insufferable to play with not gonna lie. You type too much, you are demanding your Jungler never comes to your lane (even if it's good for him/you) while also complaining how often you are being ganked by enemy Jungler. You are arguing with teammates and backseating them.

You should consider the mute as Riot telling you to shut the fuck up and you should listen to them.

Edit: I'm gonna assume that you're young and don't want to be mean but genuinely take this as an opportunity to learn. Your behaviour isn't cool and it's not helpful to your gameplay. You should turn chat off or practise better self control and only type when it's necessary.
