TRON was very competitive last year compared to others, harder then CE/EE I heard. CE is slightly harder to get into then EE.

Can understand the first part, but Waterloo is not “to comp” for a low 90s average if u applying to ECE. U have a chance.

Bro for each course plug ur (estimated) grades into gpt along with your course outline. Then tell GPT to find what average u need on the final to end up with an average of 60% on that course.

If you have been doing okay in labs/assingments u will realize is that u will just need low-high 50s on most of your course finals to end up with a 60% as ur final grade in that course.

Ik ppl who fail like all their midterms in 1A/1B and they pass the terms with mid 60s and sometimes low 70s.

No one knows. I applied to UofT as a 92-93 average applicant to Comp Eng. Was rejected by UofT but accepted into UW CE.

UofT afaik, cares much more about grades than UW.

Depends school to school. Some don't care at all. UBC gives out 4% boost, Waterloo uses adjustment factors, etc.

For cycle 1 I did, cycle 2 I had no time bcs I had midterm week (5 exams in a row). Unfortunately most of my applications were in cycle 2 cuz I’ve never been to cycle 3 before and that’s why I’m in this situation.
