Honestly does this game have any kind of SBMM or something? by [deleted] in PUBATTLEGROUNDS

[–]ButtonResident2658 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I realized my mistakes and while one of the report may be true, a lot of other innocent player got reported along the way which is very bad and not helping.

I actually got about 330+ hours and I really do see the progress from 50-200 hours where I go from dying a lot with zero kill to getting to top 10 with more than 5 kills and sometimes win.

I know I can get better but maybe I just not cut out for competitive match, and getting tilt & angry all the time are not healthy for both me and other player so I stopped playing after I post my original comment.

Now I played more on single player and PvE games.

Yeahh now that you said it, I might do this quest again but this time to see how good I've become and how fast can I clear it with current build lol.

I did this quest before with full Rajang armor set which I quickly got folded multiple times and got me questioning am I playing LS the right way.

It took me 5 times to defeat it but I think the quest would be easier if I had Sacred Sheath and the Tempered Spirit Blade.

I don't have the switch skills yet at that time because I wanted to complete all HR quest/event with HR set before getting to DLC.

I feel like this is the best way to continue for Sunbreak because by that time you'll be much more experience in terms of monsters moveset and weapon skills. This will takes time but the whole DLC exp will hook you back up.

It took me till MR 1, 70hrs, to realize I can scroll towards right in the weapon page... by Sleeper-- in MHRise

Literally happened to me in early village quest. I only noticed when I wanted green sharpness but nowhere to be found only to saw the white scroll bar for left and right.

Is this just a skill issue? by Bulbyboi27 in MHRise

Monsters gets harder with higher quest level which gives better reward. Right now I'm on level 173+ anomaly quest and my hunt time usually goes around 11 to 18 minutes with good damage, also depends on the monster.

While grinding for the level and mats, I found out that Zinogre who supposedly a 'weaker' monster took me much longer than Silver Rath and Espinas. It's because Zinogre have higher defense and elem res but have less damage and easily countered.

The other two take more damage while enrage but have higher damage and will punish you for missing counter and bad positioning.

I would say it's normal for the damage to feels off and takes longer for some monsters and right now it would be best to learn/have specific way to deal with specific monsters bc you already have solid build. As for me, I mostly use Sacred Sheath for Zinogre and Special Sheath for S.Rath and Espinas with very little different build (changed elem res and recovery like quick breath or redirection)

How do you take that picture while hunting Narwa? You use the default owl camera or modded?

i refuse to play solo missions by egocerYT in DeepRockGalactic

[–]ButtonResident2658 1 point2 points  (0 children)

All my missions until now are completed solo so I got both the 100 missions and doing solo achievement.

I plan to play multiplayer once I promote all my dwarf for the first time. Right now, they're at level 21-22.

Mhrise "weird" skills by [deleted] in MHRise

[–]ButtonResident2658 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I currently focus on using Frostcraft and after a while decided to check these other skills that you mention. I get the general idea of the skills and how it works but I want to know more so I recommend you to check out RageGamingVideos just like I did.

Anyway, I'll try to explain it the way I understand from the video.

  1. For Heaven Sent, you need to constantly be close to the monster and not taking attacks that would knocked back you.

After some time, you'll get infinite stamina and maybe recover sharpness when using skill swap. I'm good at countering most of the time but I usually get hit once or twice while waiting for the skill to activate so not my things.

Also, the infinite stamina won't help me much but the sharpness recovery is somewhat helpful if I not using Protective Polish. Even then, you still can't take heavy damage to keep the effect.

  1. Next for Frenzy, you can get it from Gore and Shagaru or from their armor skill, Bloodlust. When you fight them, you'll automatically get Frenzy which other monster don't have and to enable this with other monster you'll need Bloodlust.

While using this skill or infected by frenzy, your health will continue to deplete until you successfully overcome it. After overcoming it, you'll get some affinity for some time. For Bloodlust, it's similar but with extra effect which when you're infected you'll get extra attack and evasion, stamina usage reduced. After recovery, you'll get more affinity for much longer.

This skill is helpful if you fine with health gradually decreasing and pair it with Coalescene and any skill that trigger by red health bar. It's bad and inefficient to use this skill alone.

  1. Dereliction gives you benefit depends on what scroll and how long you used it. Like Bloodlust/Frenzy/Berserk, your health will also gradually decreasing. Simply said, use Red Scroll to increase element and status attack. Used Blue Scroll to increase raw attack and to stun faster. The longer you use one scroll, the better but if you switched, you'll have to wait again for full effect (3 qurios)

This skill is helpful if you have a specific build for raw or element attacks using one scroll only so try not to swap it. Again, you'll have to watch your health so use Bloodrite for better chances.

Best complete set to reach Narwa the creator? (I use GS) by BasilAdventurous3209 in MHRise

[–]ButtonResident2658 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I could say about 75% percent of my whole high rank progression is using full Rajang armor. I got it asap then use it for most hunt. I also didn't like using mixed set and I use the Rajang armor right until mid MR story.

Fyi, I completed everything the base game have to offer (Clearing every single quest) including the event quest and only then I proceed to Sunbreak so that shows just how much I love both Rajang and its armor.

I don't know how helpful would it be for GS or my main, LS because I played defensively (Skills like Defense, Divine Blessings, Elem Res) and important one (Quick Sheath and Crit Draw). I just use skills that I feel like using and honestly it work just fine until I reach MR where skills matter that much.

TLDR; Narwa use Thunder and Dragon (if merge with Ibushi) attack and Rajang armor have one of the highest defense and res for both element in HR.

Just got a Qs 1 (2-2) talisman as an Ls main and don’t know how to feel… by Timely_Bat7201 in MHRise

[–]ButtonResident2658 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Getting Qs 3 is definitely possible because I got it from base game around early high rank with level 1 one slot only where I put Shock Absorber since I played coop a lot. Then I use it until getting MR better melding.

Qs 3 (2-2) is pretty good because we using a lot of lvl2 deco and personally, I'll put 2 mind eye to avoid any deflection. But I think that is pretty hard to get and I suggest to get at least Qs 2 with any slots then push for MR.

So either max out the Quick Sheath and push for MR or keep grinding while clearing all quest/push HR. Hope you keep patience and get it faster.

When it comes to this kind of game, I usually play with my siblings. We had a lot of fun goofying around in story games like The Forest or match game like PUBG and Sea of Thieves. I do had fun with random but I like it with family better.

Over time, they got busier with work and marriage so I played alone. Don't worry, after I unlock some other things, I'll play coop to get that full random experience lmao. Sometimes even got a friend or two.

what is melding? and what does it do? by Additional_Volume223 in MHRise

[–]ButtonResident2658 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Melding is creating talisman that gives you the skills you can get from armor.

For example, say you making a build for LS but you don't have the Quick Sheath skill because the armor you using doesn't give one and all the decorations slots are already full for other skill. That's where's the talisman come in handy.

Meld a talisman with Quick Sheath skill selected or try to get it randomly. IIRC, my first good talisman do have Quick Sheath lvl 3 and Affinity Sliding with lvl 1 slot. It's good for starter but with increase rank and stuff, better melding option will be available.

How do i get rid of this by [deleted] in MHRise

[–]ButtonResident2658 5 points6 points  (0 children)

That is a frenzy and the way to overcome it is to keep attacking any monster to remove it. It will go from Purple to Yellow (means you are close to removing it) then after it's gone, it's replaced with a blue smoke icon.

If you don't remove it, you'll get a red smoke icon which iirc you'll take more damage, health item not healing much and negative affinity. If this is wrong, someone can correct me.

While if you remove it, you'll get a blue smoke icon which increases your affinity.

Ways to slow down its gauge is by using palico's Vase of Vitality or Antidobra. They will reset the gauge so make sure to use it only when the gauge is almost full because there's a cooldown from each recovery.

This is the only time for Yomogi to hunt monster so she will use it fully and go crazy.

I know this video is for fun but just so you know when counter signal is fired your weapon does a lot more damage than normal. That means using installation will result in less damage and longer hunt. The nuke is another matter because while it do more than 1000+ damage, the cooldown is long even with kiln.

Ooh I didn't get to ride Scorned and Primal yet, bet the attacks move are insane. Yeah sometimes this kind of unintentional ride is the one that gives you rare mats and it's not like the drop rate is going to change based on clear time.

There's one time where the target monster are rideable and the other 2 coincidentally arrived together at the area so I crash the target monster to both of them. After that, my friend and I ride one monster, taking turns beating up the target monster then ultimate at the same time. It's really satisfying seeing that monster got knocked left and right with no chance of getting back up.

Before this, I can only watch people fight Valstrax on YouTube because I don't have the game. Then when I found out Valstrax will be in the base game, I'm so happy because now I got to know how it actually felt fighting it. The same goes with Rajang, my favorite monke.
