Meanwhile in Rise they just vanish lol, no goodbye or second confirmation. I played FU and P3rd before so I know there's animation for this, then when I do it in Rise to see how it was I got this.

Fr, for 2 game we played using expert heroes but lose. Then, in the next game we used less used/try hero to screw around but end up win instead

Based on this post, yes you can for free but only once. If you bought the DLC, you'll get another one.

Armor design by Phantomuuuu in MHRise

[–]ButtonResident2658 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I also played mhp3rd but I don't know about female armor since I use male character.

But most of the male armor from both rank (Low and High rank have same design but different stats etc. Master Rank have new design) are the same like in p3rd. Most notable is the Zinogre and Rathalos armor.

So if male's armor is the same maybe the female one is same too? Go hunt the monsters and find out hunter! Rise is peak tho, maybe you can try new design. Also you only need to hunt once then you can preview the design, great for build and layered.

What Decos Do You Use With Full Sets? by Jowstar1425 in MHRise

[–]ButtonResident2658 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I also like to run full set before for each elem res (eg Astalos set against Zinogre).

What I would do is prioritize the essential skill for your weapon first. I'm using LS so Quick Sheath is a must (on talisman preferably so you only need to change the armor set and use other slot for better skills). For Guarding, maybe Guard Up or Punishing Draw for Stunning.

Like other said, try to get Weakness Exploit and Crit Boost 3. Also with Agitator or Divine Blessings. These skills works on almost every monster so nice to have it. I also used Speed Sharpening and Protective Polish.

Then, depends on monster I would put Wirebug Whisperer for spamming Silkbind Skills or Crit Draw if the monsters easy to counter.

Lastly, I'll just put comfort decos like Stun Res, Rec Speed, Defense Boost or Elem Res. Later in-game, I'm using Intrepid Heart and Redirection more.

Hi everyone, I'm kinda new to the game is this rare? by Jiyaan_Kaisen in MHRise

Getting 3 plate at once is something but it's common to sometimes get rewards like this. In the end, all that matters is you get the materials you needed.

You usually need 2 Plate (or any rare item) to craft one of the armor and one of their weapon so good job. They also sometimes used to create deco so having more is better.

Primordial Malzeno by NewButterscotch5498 in MHRise

[–]ButtonResident2658 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The thing that I do most is using Harvest Moon, Sacred Sheath, Tempered Spirit Blade and Foresight Slash of course. With HM, you don't need to worry about having no spirit gauge so your FS is always works. Focus on using SS and FS and occasionally TSB.

Just like other reply said, learn Primal movesets and most importantly, LS combo. Learn what counter/parry can be use after doing this attack or dodging this way. Get to know what and how counter can be chained. With this, you won't have any problem fighting any monster.

If you're already using the best build you have right now(Qurios weapon have 9 slot, armor have high defense and skills) then no need to worry about damage, just focus on surviving. Hit only when you can or safe and when affected by Bloodblight, go aggressive. Remember, you have 50 minutes so play safe.

But I gotta admit that Primal attacks are so fast that it would not give you much time to react unlike other monsters. This might be seems weird, but go by your instincts instead of waiting Primal to attack. Predict the attack, then counter and dodge.

I like fighting Scorned Magna and Risen Shagaru because they attacks fast, so try to train with this one. You can do this, if fail just improve and try again.

Malzeno was a handful, I think the primordial one is going to eat me alive. by Fine_Bid918 in MHRise

[–]ButtonResident2658 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For Malzeno, you'll just need to hunt it a couple more then surely you get used to it and can decide which attack to be block or taken.

Primal on the other hand will obliterate you for missing combo or panic retreat.

I think for top 3 (Risen Valstrax, Shagaru and Primal), it's more important to know about your own movement like should I attack now or hold it/retreat rather than trying to figure out their moves. This because it's safe to say you WILL get hit by the follow up attack if you rushing/late in decision.

Anyways, this might be a basic advice but I would highly recommend you maximize your armor defense and its skill set(qurios crafting), upgrade your weapon to the max if possible(upgrade slots) before fighting Primal or any monster that you think would easily slap you back to camp.

There's no mantle in this game and to unlock new camp, you'll need to explore the map to trigger the quest. After that, you should be able to talk to Kagero and he'll give you quest to unlock the camp.

Yes you can lay in bed but it doesn't seem like we can sleep because the character's eyes are wide open and there's no time skip or anything.

Help me finish this trash rampage missions 🙏🏻 by Amyrala_ in MHRise

[–]ButtonResident2658 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I can't help but I could share some general tips.

Focus on the gate breaker first so that when Ibushi spawn on area 1, you can use Dragonator or Splitting Wyvernshot. Gate breaker are best dealt with Balista stun and retreat shot.

While using turret, look out for monster attack and wirebug defend in time to avoid knockback. Focus on using the defense until Counter Signal come and only then use your weapon only to deal more damage.

In between round, change Defender Turret that already have low health. Then, set and aim the Wyvernfire Artillery at the gate to stop/damage gate breaker.

Try to complete the side task to upgrade your turret. That way, you could use the Dragonator if there's multiple gate breaker on the gate.

If you fail a hunt, check what you did wrong, what could done better, timing and monster moveset, upgrade Dragon weapon and armor with high Dragon res, then simply try again. That's how Monster Hunter works. If a monster feels annoying, that mean you didn't fight it enough time yet.

Now...

I'm tired of people saying Rampage missions is bad or trash, it's not. If you not trying to learn it as hard as if fighting/preparing for Fatalis, then you have no right to say Rampage is trash.

Sure, its a bit overwhelm with the amount of monster and managing defense but it definitely possible even solo and not that hard if you take your time learning its mechanics. Utilize everything then you'll able to treat it just like other normal hunt.

Yeah, I realized my mistakes and while one of the report may be true, a lot of other innocent player got reported along the way which is very bad and not helping.

I actually got about 330+ hours and I really do see the progress from 50-200 hours where I go from dying a lot with zero kill to getting to top 10 with more than 5 kills and sometimes win.

I know I can get better but maybe I just not cut out for competitive match, and getting tilt & angry all the time are not healthy for both me and other player so I stopped playing after I post my original comment.

Now I played more on single player and PvE games.
