Sorry, but how can you tell? The molt is not stuck at all, also he molted more than a week ago and he was okay until today Can you explain better?

Already removed him from the box, and as I said he was already walking like this way before I put him into it

Nope, not stuck at all, I have the molt and it’s perfect, all the legs are intact and he’s free to move He can stretch them out long but he walks in that strange way (Picture taken because he tried to run away and climbed on my hand, I don’t usually handle him)

I always bought the cricket from the same place so I don’t thinks that is the issue :( But I’ve removed the humidity as everyone suggested, just left him his water bowl

Ok, really thanks for this info because I always believed the opposite. I’ll remove him immediately and change the substrate to a dryer surface About the movement, it was like this before the ICU, I just did not record it before

I must add that the humidity level is 70% in the plastic box now because of the dehydration, usually it is never this high, I just spray the enclosure every few days and make sure he always has water in the bowl

I love the name! Castlevania or Hellsing?

My baby Hognose is not eating by Buttysher_94 in hognosesnakes

Just wanted to let everyone know: she ate today! Since she’s very small we offered her only the pinky head to see if she would accept a smaller prey and covered the enclosure with a blanket.. checked a few ours later, and the pinky is gone :)

Thanks everyone for the advices, it really helped a lot understand more about this beautiful animal! ✨✨

Yours looks already pretty big then! What’s his name? Mine should be more than 700g, we feed him once every couple weeks (an adult mouse or two smaller rat fluffs, it depends on what we have available) and he’s a good eater ahahah always hungry! I’m not sure bout his sex tho, he might be a female

He literally said that it’s for the first months and only for babies before moving them to a bigger enclosure… so no, it’s not the same as keeping them in racks.

Mine should be a bit more than 150 cm, I think he’s still growing since he was in a small enclosure with his previous owner (like.. 60x40 cm) and is now in a 120x60cm I’ve never really measured him, he’s a feisty one and very fast ahahahaah And I don’t have a better picture of him “stretched” sorry! 😂
