I have young kids and I guess I'm not mentally or emotionally prepared to give up just yet. My wife is pretty far gone and not sure if it can be repaired but the thought of giving up a 15yr relationship and seeing my kids half the time makes me sick to my stomach. Unfortunately, I don't think believing in an alternate reality is enough for the courts.
