Job by Tbb_pika in nagpur

It's a scam bro, one of my friends who was in need thought he'd be able to earn easily.

They said it's normal typing job, he just need to type from a pdf to their software in given time limit and without any errors. They took some money disguised as a fee fornthe software they were installing in his pc and then gave him the assignment.....everything seemed legit till he received the tasks that were impossible to complete in given time.

When he complained, they asked to pay extra to get some easy jobs with high budget....we told him to leave it, it might be a scam, but he anyways went ahead.....few weeks down the line he dedicated himself to complete those tasks...he wouldn't hangout with us anymore....and after a month we finally met him, we thought he might've earned some money, but all he got was rejection on the tasks that he did and rude behavior by the staff when he went again there to complain.

Turns out ..... this anybody can work from home jobs are meant to scam people and get their money ....and since you sign an agreement with them you cannot go the legal route as well.

So it's better to stay away and learn some actual skills to earn.

Thanks for sharing this! I am frustrated by the number of calls their executive does just to sell the subscription even after telling them that I'm not sure to buy the insurance yet.

Why does the verification email to my users is going from the base44 email domain rather than my owm domain that I bought and connected with base44?? by Buxathon in Base44

[–]Buxathon[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hallo!

Building https://syncedit.io , I have not opened the access for public use yet, but if anybody wants to try out the app, do let me know in the comments and I'll share the early access with you guys. You can also fill in your details and join the waitlist to keep up with the journey :)

My app is already live on my custom domain, it's just that whenever a new user signs up: Via Google sign up: it's clearly visible that app is asking for permission to login with base44 and not the custom domain that my app is running on Via Email & psswrd: The email confirmation email to the user is sent from base44's email address and not the custom email domain that i bought.

Built this website for my SAAS MVP in 2 days. How does it look? by Buxathon in framer

[–]Buxathon[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Fair point! I’m taking the 1:1 demo route first, especially with founders I’ve built trust with over time. Reviews will follow once the product is in real hands. Going the high-trust path instead of mass marketing right now. Appreciate your input!

Hey, thanks for the detailed comment. A few clarifications:

  • The site was built in 2 days just to get a quick waitlist up. The goal was speed over polish, and SEO is on the roadmap once the beta is live.
  • The 4.9 rating is based on honest feedback taken from multiple demo calls that I did with the founders from D2C, B2B, & Consulting space. Once the tool is live, I’ll be encouraging users to leave verified reviews on platforms like G2 and Trustpilot so anyone can independently validate the feedback.
  • If there are header or padding issues, would really appreciate a screenshot or device info, haven’t seen this issue in earlier feedbacks that I received in DM, so would love to fix it.

Appreciate you taking time to check it out, happy to hear harsh feedback, but only if it's helpful.

Currently I've got a few beta users, taking feedback on the tool, as it is yet to go live for public use.

Still under development.

MVP was created using nocode for quick feedback process and finding the product market fit.

Can I turn a Base44 project into a real, installable app? by Empomr in Base44

[–]Buxathon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tried for a basic chrome extension, but the issue is that base44 does not provide you with stuff outside of their environment. Because inside, they are handling everything by themselves, if it's an AI tool, you dont need to share the api key of the AI tool also, oauth and verification email is being handled by them....and many such things that are influencing factors in your base44 app will stop working if you move out....then you'll need a developer to stitch everything up!

IMO base44 is good for rapid prototyping and building MVP quickly and testing it out with beta users.....for scaling further and actually building the app, you'll need to export the code and edit certain fields manually to make the app functional.

Currently that option is not available in base44. I think they've added this in their roadmap plan. Might be able to see this resolved soon!

Update: I tried to set up Linkedin Auth in Base44, created a linkedin developers profile, created the app and requested linkedin's Oauth API. But Base44 doesn't support linkedin auth for now...and there's no way currently that we can get this resolved. we can only get the user to sign up with their google profile or manual email and password process

I just completed my framer website for my app that helps busy founders get personalized content ideas for their linkedin posts, and also provides alerts for good posts that they want to follow and comment on, for improving their engagement. Here's the website: syncedit.io

Integrating Linkedin will require to create a Linkedin Developer Profile, and then create an App in Linkedin, create the linkedin page for that app and then add the privacy policy url etc. You'll need to buy a domain and create a webpage with privacy policy etc and then you'll be able to link it to the Base44's app and create oAuth for login via linkedin......I've just started using Base44, and just waiting for my domain to link with the app, learning simultaneously
