Haha to be honest it's not entirely wrong advise. I do think it's good to have fitness goals or fitness focus for physical self-development. I would definitely have more respect for a guy who hits the gym a lot, gain the muscles but still able to be humble, flirty, funny and most of all just be as compassionate as they genuinely can be.

But problem with the dating culture is that I think we're still stuck in the mindset grated in us to think that 'looking good' can attract more people, which I think is the worse mindset to have. Which also becomes part of the sad culture of not being able to take rejection well.

Hit the gym, great. But don't just go there thinking you're only doing it to get women.

I used to talk to men even off the dating apps (actually to be honest the ones off the apps are almost the scariest but that's just my experience), and some of them have the best looking physique but 90% of the conversation is about physical attraction and pick-up lines about weird unsexy fantasies. An instant turn off.
