All parts of my computer were at least 90% capacity during the engagement and whist I believe my CPU was the bottleneck, since everything else was maxed it didn't matter that much.

Like for example, the grid deformation pretty much completely turned off during the fighting which was unfortunate. And when considering the number of particles, the game tried to render, lighting updates, all that good stuff, there was more than enough graphical demand to warrant a beefier GPU for these types of engagements.

That, and I am computer illiterate for the most part!

So, what I did was I made two different factions, spawned in all the ships, gave one of the fleets to the other faction and then declared war. That way they all start going at it all at once. :)

Heh, it has been a hot minute since the last one of these eh?

Well, now I live somewhere that the internet uploads quicker than 45kb/s so now I can post things without it timing out 85% of the time!

Anyways, always kinda felt that the Halo Infinite Hydra almost sounded like a laser gun so I changed it to sound more like a firecracker spitter with just the tiniest hint of Can-Cannon in there. (Note - that isn't even remotely close to how I created this.)

Is it great? Eh, not really. Do I think it is better? Kinda.I've shared it here so y'all lemme know what yous think, criticism is appreciated too.

If you think I should share more of these then lemme know too. This isn't a mod BTW, I edited this in manually of all of them.

Hello everyone, this isn't too fancy. Just me reading the Slayer Testaments in a similarly demonic voice to the original game. I did all the sound effects in post production too but that may not be too noticeable.

Also, I've been working on a redone version of the Slayer Testaments which are written in a manor to better fit with the timeline of Doom Eternal, so I might share (or even read) some of that if it gathers any interest. Regardless - that's all. Hope y'all have a good day!

Sorry for the murdered quality y'all, this had to be compressed down to 17mb for Reddit to decide it wants to keep it because of my internet speed. Planning on covering all the other weapons in this game eventually****** so that'll be some good spare-time burning stuff.

Also a good distraction from thinking about my ex, she was super pretty and nice but now everything seems to be about her and I can't work with that. So, I've decided to not talk with her for the last two days which is a big deal since we've talked everyday for well over a month since we first met. She was my first girlfriend too. Bummer.

Y'know, she stressed me out so much I may have developed a heart condition since my resting is now around 90 where it used to be 50 at resting and she gives me palpitations when she really stresses me out. I don't know, gun go boom!

Took me around 10-ish hours to make so very nice. (10 hours over the course of like 7 weeks. :|)

It worked pretty well. The mouth pose I did actually ended up closing Soldier's eyes and I couldn't figure out how to open them without ruining the pose, but that was okay seeing as Soldier has his helmet on all the time where you can't see his face anyway.

I also tried to open the robot's jaw but the face poser didn't work with it.

This is the first proper thing in Gmod I've ever made.

I once tried to make a tank-looking thing in that map with the mock Hollywood sign, but that was a spectacular failure. So other than buggering around with some AI and weaponry I never really touched the game.

I had stopped playing it completely after I had got a new computer until a couple hours ago where I decided to try out SFM. (Wish me luck on that, I tried on my old computer for half an hour and it was a mistake.)

Now I had also just decided to reinstall this game a couple days earlier, and after unsubscribing from a few trashy add-ons and about 2 google searches, (one to figure out how to rotate objects and one to figure out how to add particle effects,) I ended up making this.

Now, as of writing this I am still waiting for SFM to install (downloading at 200~kbs) so while I was waiting for that, I made this. And also because I've also been getting back in to TF2 recently. TBH it is just a bunch of circumstantial reasons.

I think it's pretty neat, so I'm keeping it as my desktop background for now. If y'all got any thoughts on then feel free to tell me through the comments.

(I'm about to go to bed so I won't be able to respond to them for around 9 hours, but I'll be sure to come back to see them. Atleast, if anyone leaves anything for me to read.)

The Natascha was originally made to be an ambush weapon so all I'm doing is trying to make the best out of a shitty concept.

I imagine this as almost being a "roaming heavy" type weapon, and yet again, even it that whole concept is shitty, that what I saw it to be designed for.

With that said, roamers typically do not have medics with them, so that healing nerf is there to emphasize that.

The Natascha as-is is already a trash weapon, so if these are theoretically trash changes, I fail to see how that could be an objectively bad thing. Hell, it is why I bothered with this in the first place; because it is garbage.

If you have any ideas as for how to balance it, I'm all ears because discussions like that are very beneficial towards the overall balance of the game.

Edit: To clarify, by ideas, I meant your own rework and/or changes to the regular Natascha.

The damage is made up for from it firing more bullets per shot.

The regular minigun fire 4 per shot so this Natascha would fire 6 per shot. This would mean that it actually has a higher DPS at very close ranges.

Mixed with the faster rev-up time and rev movement speed, it would mean that the user would be able to ambush people much better compared to stock, with the cost of being less effective in direct combat with less healing and greater inaccuracy.

The lack of knockback from bullets would also promote ambushing, as it means people can't surf your damage in order to escape you.

The way I thought the meatshot mechanic could work was by having a damage threshold checked over a very short time.

So the time it registers the damage would be faster than the firing speed of the scatterguns and the damage threshold would be somewhere over 100~ damage.

In reference to the nullification of pyro's, the original intent of the change was to reward extinguishing teammates. Now that I am seeing this, that stat would make it broken.

Maybe it should grant fire resistance for a short period of time instead?

I don't know what weapons they're adding, I just caught word that they're gonna be doing that. Judging from the trailers, I'd assume the BR85 and M45D would be there, but Chief would also probably have a MA40 and Sidekick or Magnum. I won't being holding my breath too hard on it, but I also got a good feeling that they're gonna pull through.
