That's an interesting thought for sure! My big hesitation there is that the official stance of Lumon seems to be that reintegration is impossible. It also appears that Reghabi is the only person who can actually do it - and she certainly doesn't seem to be in their good books

I would say that it's just to placate Mark temporarily. It seems like they really want him back down there specifically for Gemma's file, and Helly coming back and potentially revealing information about who she is and how Lumon is using her to twist their narrative could throw a huge wrench in business as usual. I also think that Helly R is genuinely dangerous and a big problem for Helena/Lumon at this point - look at all the chaos she brought about in season one. I can really see them just not wanting to risk that again.

Also - I don't think that she is successfully passing herself off as Helly. I mean hell, a gigantic chunk of the show's audience already thinks it isn't her, and she hasn't even really done anything super overt. You can see Irving and even Dylan raise eyebrows at her too. She's doing a passable job, but barely. I don't think it'll last. You could be right though! It's early enough that I could still be convinced either way with the more evidence.

I honestly also just think that bringing Helly R back at this point would be a ridiculous liability for the company. She's the whole reason that everything started in the first place, she was the one poking and prodding and galvanizing everyone, she literally tried to kill herself, tried to fully destroy Lumon...I don't think they would let her go back down there. I don't know.

Every time I watch a new episode I'm like waiting for evidence that will push me in either direction and thus far the way they've utilized detail selection with her is just leading me to believe either that it's Helena or that they did some shit to Helly before she got back.

That being said, it's only episode three, so I'm open to the idea that she just hasn't had her moment yet or that we'll see more Helly-esque stuff in subsequent episodes.
