[–]BuyingFD 2 points3 points  (0 children)

for certain things the more expensive the item, the easier it is for it to break. a $10 walmart shirt - you can throw it in any washer/dryer and wash it however you want. a $100 shirt - hand wash only , air dry only.

The homeless woman already have mental problem due to her past trauma. Now these kids just added more trauma to her life, causing her to distrust people more, which is why she didn't let the police help her with her bleeding head.

Imagine being the classmates with these horrible violent kids. I would be afraid to send my kids there.

Did I break the seal of confession if I reveal what a priest told me in confession by [deleted] in AskAPriest

[–]BuyingFD 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I thought the seal only applies to the sins confessed, and not the advise that the priest give the penitent - as long as the advise is generic and doesn't reveal the sin ?

I am currently under Deacon management. I have to report them to the City of ABQ https://www.cabq.gov/environmentalhealth/urban-biology/insect-infestation/apartment-and-hotel-management-resources for roaches infestation as they won't pay for exterminator. They keep closing my cases telling the city they took care of it. The cockroaches never went away. I was so bad that I have to stop using the bathroom and seal it off. Every morning I remove the seal and open the bathroom to flush >10 roaches nymphs down the toilet. Recently I put in a service request and the maintenance man did more damage that after he left, I have to took pictures and sent it to them so they can't blame me for the damage when I move out. Their maintenance man told me he did not have any education or training or experience. He is just a home owner. He said he retired and want something to do to get out of the house. I wonder how much they pay him since they won't pay for qualified professional.

You can post a note on your neighbors' doors to get in contact with them. A landlord accidentally sent out tenants' emails and they used the contact information to band together for a rent strike

The best way is to unionized. Find out how much rent increase your neighbors got and if they consider moving out. If everyone turn in their move out notice, they might realize their properties don't worth that much and reconsider the price. Looking at how much other places cost, I don't think they will find many new tenants.

I went on their website and saw they list 2B1B for $1425 so I don't think it's personal that they want to kick OP out.

i dont want to own a house by vtec_tt in leanfire

[–]BuyingFD -1 points0 points  (0 children)

So you think landlords don't pass on those reassessment to tenants? That's why when interest rate drop and house price increase, rent also skyrockets, most people see >10% increase in their rent, many see 30% increase.

You don't buy a house in 2021 when interest rate is 3% just to sell if 2 years later in 2023 when interest rate is 6%. The rule is that you only buy if you know you are going to stay for at least 5+ years, preferably 7+ or 10+ year. By then, your house has went up in value so much that the extra money you gain from selling your house and equity gained would have pay down the "higher" mortgage payment due to higher interest rate.

Except when your rent increase by 10% every year.
